About the host
Hosted by Karen Kreutzberg
My husband and I have been the loving owners of this house for 30 years. We enjoy using it ourselves and sharing it with special guests. We are full time hosts who strive to offer you an exceptional vacation or business retreat. I am a Naval Officer, my husband a creative designer & builder. Kyle has created a small collection of boutique property worthy of great applause. Super Hosts on other short term site.
Why they chose this property
We loved the c1890 real estate and proximity- walking distance- to the National Mall (home of the Smithsonian Museums).
You are RIGHT downtown with a 24 hour/7 day Grocery store less than one block away. Tons of restaurants, bars, museums.
It was affordable back in 1987 since it had no heat, 18 broken windows and no running water :) We have renovated the building twice (!) growing with each experience.
What makes this property unique
Beautiful Space & spaciousness. Comfort. Historic details. LOCATION most of all. Stocked with everything to fully enjoy your time .
