Renee's Lake House: Lakefront home with Beautiful views of Lake Erie.

Lovely lakefront home with spectacular views of Lake Erie and Grand View Bay. Only 100 feet from home to lake - great for swimming and boating. Direct access to beach from our lawn with 5 steps down to the lake. This winter we remodeled the kitchen, adding a new farm style sink, new dishwasher, tile and floor. Thee are two fully remodeled bathrooms. Walk-around fireplace that serves as a centerpiece of the home constructed of Pennsylvania split rock. Large picture windows in the living room and master bedroom provide spectacular views of the lake. A bright sun room includes a trundle bed that sleeps 2 and the downstairs bedroom has a twin bed that sleeps one. Note: Bookings in July and August are typically Sunday arrivals at 3:30 pm with Sunday departures at 11 am.
The upstairs includes a master bedroom with queen-sized bed and vaulted beamed ceiling and balcony overlooking lake. The other upstairs bedroom has 2 twin beds. The home has 2 full bathrooms. Upstairs bath is newly remodeled with beautiful tile and custom shower door featuring a floating vanity. Downstairs bath, has a full shower with custom tile and shower door.
A floating vanity is also featured with a stylish backlit mirror.
This home is for couples, families and extended family members who seek a lakefront property with breathtaking views and is located in a quiet neighborhood. Beautiful gardens surround the home and will provide a lifetime of memories from your summer at the lake. 40 minutes from Niagara Falls, 45 minutes from Amish Country and Chautauqua Institute ( performing arts, lectures and recreational activities). Market is a 4 minute walk from house and golf course 10 a minute walk. Kayaks can launch from property. Boat launch at Sturgeon Point or Point Breeze 5 - 10 minutes away from home. Holiday rates for July 4th week and Labor Day week.

Wonderful! Renee’s Lakehouse is steps to the sandy beach. The view is outstanding. Its charming atmosphere provides a great getaway for family vacation. Highly recommend!

Overall, wonderful location and a nice lake house. There are quirks with the house structure (such as the steep staircases) and outdated appointments (mirrored walls and doors) which are understandable given its age. The beds and pillows are older and recommended to be replaced. But the house was clean, kitchen was large, and it included everything we needed. There is no A/C, so July rentals might be hot & humid. The modernized kitchen & bathrooms are well done. The view and beach access were highlights as were the chipmunks & squirrels. The price per night was reasonable, but the fees that VRBO tack on are not nor were they fully disclosed up front.

Renee's Lake House

Very relaxing

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful lake house. It was easy to walk the grass down to the wall then down to the beach. Everything was clean. And the newly remodeled kitchen is beautiful. We brought our canoe from home and enjoyed the lake very much. I cannot wait to book again. My only complaints would be possibly two towels per person instead of just one and we are excited to learn that they will be adding air conditioning!! The breezes from the lake were very helpful and they have fans. We were there during a heatwave so it was hotter than usual but we did ok. The neighbors were extremely friendly and said if we needed anything to let them know.

Renee's Lake House

This is a quaint and charming family home. The location is ideal if you enjoy sitting on a bluff top site overlooking the lake under a canopy of stately trees. Neighbors are friendly and the neighborhood is quite. Owners respond quickly to any issue that may arise.

Renee's Cottage

This is the third time we have stayed here. The cottage has all the items you will need. The view is fantastic. It is a great place to have friends and relatives sit and visit. We enjoyed kayaking the bay many times over the two weeks we stayed. We had 12 of the most perfect days of weather. The owner and cleaning person are excellent to communicate with. We have already booked two weeks next year.

Great stay at the Lake

Renee’s Lake House is special in so many ways. The property was clean and comfortable with beautiful views. The upstairs bedroom has a great view of the Lake with a small balcony. The two bathrooms were updated and modern. The eat-in kitchen was roomy with new appliances (all kitchen necessities were provided). There are plenty of restaurants in the area and Niagara Falls NY was close enough for a short day trip. Our stay was memorable and we left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed.

Beautiful Beach Stay

House is quaint and cottagey! New Bathrooms a wonderful upgrade. My adult daughters and my sister stayed in late August. Beach days were the best. Walking distance on the Beach to music, food and fun. The best was just sitting in the back yard watching the water. We had great weather and Kathy next store was so nice to chat with. Had Lakeside Market Sausage - sooo good. We booked again for next year already. Gardens are lovely - Thanks Liz and team

Family get together

The view, the property and the neighborhood were excellent. Sad to say that the weather was spotty with some rain and 3 days of air quality alerts due to forest fires in Canada. But we had 3 generations of family there from Virginia and Hamburg and nothing could dampen that experience. The girls got to paddle board and loved it! The consenus opinion was that if you"ll have us we are thinking of renting next year - the 4th of July week.

GREAT STAY!

We stayed the week of the Fourth of July and could not be happier with the location and accommodations. We are originally from the area, and came back to visit with family and old friends. The lake views are always so relaxing. The neighbors are awesome! Our family have been to many VRBO over the years and this home had more kitchen equipment than we have ever seen. The home was clean and safe., and the owner communicated great, even when there was a miscommunication of my error. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We will definitely consider staying again if the home is available.

Perfect Lakefront Property

My family and I had a wonderful time at this amazing property. The views are spectacular, the beach access couldn’t be better, the location is convenient to everything in Grandview Bay and the house itself is rich in history, charm and comfort. Don’t worry about the lack of AC, the lake breezes keep things nice and cool with the help of a few fans. The kitchen is equipped with just about everything you need for a week stay and there is no shortage of space. The house, property, location and charm was everything we were looking for. The host is great, super attentive and responds quickly. The neighbors are helpful as well. A++ experience!!!

Cute older home with a nice view!

The house is cute. It is an older home and has mostly old windows and pocket doors, which were a little tricky to handle, especially for the kids. The yard is well maintained and the view in the back is great, with access to the beach. The host was nice, but sometimes took a while to respond to messages. But we were able to communicate with another contact during our stay. It's a lovely home, I would recommend it for a family with older kids, or a couple.

Nice getaway

Nice older home, full of history for sure, weather was not as cooperative, but made the most of it. Was a little put off as per rules I first contacted VRBO as I had not heard anything from owner, then low and behold after I was informed the owner had been contacted by them I was indeed contacted. Check in was told to text their person 24 hrs prior to check in, done heard nothing until I texted a second time 1 hour before check in. To say the home was clean I guess we all have different levels of clean, but thank goodness the weather was not as warm because the fans provided were absolutely disgusting and was not going to use them. There were mousetraps on fridge and window sill,unloaded the dishwasher , not a big deal but never have I experienced that, then after two days, Tim Hortens very close ,DIL went to make coffee to find old coffee in the pot, wondering how long it had been there. The cob webs and dust bunnies were a lot, with the instructions provided truly expected cleaner as clearly states the cleaning crew would be paid more if they needed more time , just feel very bad as this couple may be overpaying the management they have on hand because saw no one one the property for lawn , taking care of the flowered as stated , just looked very disheveled and unkept in comparison to the properties surrounding.
