Villa Pefnos Christos - A tranquil paradise by the sea

Villa Pefnos is a traditional stone villa set in it's own beautiful olive grove and lovely gardens on the outskirts of the picturesque fishing village of Agios Dimitrios, about 5 km south of Stoupa. Villa Pefnos Christos, offers absolute peace and quiet and is the ideal starting point for lots of holiday activities. The large terraces on all sides of the villa invite you to relax and sunbathe. The two apartments are built slightly offset and have separate entrances, so that our guests can enjoy complete privacy. The olive grove and gardens are lovely and the views of the sea are unparalleled. There is plenty of space for parking. We also offer free bikes for anyone wishing to explore, suject to availability.
There are several beautiful beaches in the surrounding area which are great for swimming, snorkelling and sunbathing. The nearest sandy beach and taverna are only 250 meters from the villa and there are two smaller beaches closer. The surrounding countryside and slopes of the Taygetos mountains provide ideal opportunities for walking and exploring. In the next village of Agios Nikolaos, 1500 km from the villa, there are shops, restaurants and cafés, a pharmacy and a health centre.
Both apartments are spacious and very well equipped: there are comfortable beds, wardrobes with ample storage space, well-maintained bathrooms with shower and a fully equipped kitchen. There is lots of seating inside and outside, plus free Wi-Fi, and smart TV. There is air conditioning in all rooms, which on cooler days can be used as a heater.

There is a washing machine for laundry, and portable barbecue for use on the terraces.
Quiet roads and well-marked trails lead to turreted villages, monasteries and chapels, or to the heights of the Taygetos mountain range.
Sit on the terrace of our house on the west coast of the Mani and experience the tranquillity of this magical place. Enjoy the view of the deep blue of the Mediterranean Sea and the mighty mountain slopes of the Taygetos. Watch as the clouds drift over the turreted villages of the southern Peloponnese and as the sun sets over the Messinian Gulf.

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in der Villa Pefnos. Alles genau wie beschrieben. Einfach toll! Aussicht, Haus, Sauberkeit, Terrasse, Lage, tolle Strände in wenigen Minuten Fußweg. Alex hat uns mit leckerem Gemüse und Kräutern aus dem Garten versorgt. Einfach perfekt. Absolut zu empfehlen!

nous avons apprécié notre séjour dans la villa Pefnos1, la maison est confortable et sa situation proche de la mer au milieu des oliviers est idéale . L'accueil des propriétaires a été attentif. Une petite suggestion toutefois mais ce n'est qu'un petit détail: si nous avons apprécié le cadeau du propriétaire, un bidon de son huile d'olive à l'arrivée, nous aurions souhaité trouver une bouteille d'eau dans le réfrigérateur pour nous désaltérer .Un plan simple favoriserait aussi la premIère arrivée dans la villa.

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Pefnos1 sehr genossen, Ruhe und Komfort des Hauses, schöne Gespräche und Wanderung mit Alekos, kleine Radtouren zum Strand mit Taverne und Einkaufen. Der Peloponnes hat uns bei unseren Erkundungstouren einfach verzaubert. Wir kommen wieder. Wünschenswert wäre ein Moskitoschutz an den Fenstern von Bädern und Schlafzimmern, in der zweiten Woche haben und die Tierchen doch etwas geplagt.

Since then I come here as often as I can; to holiday, to make the house and garden more beautiful, to harvest olives or just enjoy the tranquility. I have realised a dream here, and I would like to share that with my guests.
