SCALA DEI TURCHI - REALMONTE a singular white cliff made from limestone and clay overlooking a crystal clear sea. Its name derives from the Turkish invasions. According to an ancient legend, the Saracens arrived from the sea climbed the cliff to the top; once there, they attacked the local population.
