Casa Umbria is a brand new spacious, modern and contemporary villa ideally positioned for sightseeing and visiting the numerous local vineyards, Spa's and beautiful hill-top towns. The villa is designed over three floors and has 2 living areas with balconies and wonderful outside space to enjoy those balmy summer evenings relaxing by the pool or dining alfresco. There is a master bedroom and twin and could sleep an extra person if needs be on a sofa bed.
The villa is beautifully furnished and has all mod cons to make your stay home from home. There is a private pool and ample off road parking. Situated on the edge of Castiglione in teverina, it is only a two minute walk to the town centre where you can find banks, shops, restaurants (including a vegetarian) , supermarkets and a cinema.

A little slice of peace in the Umbria countryside

What a fantastic stay at Casa Umbria! The villa has everything you need from a refreshing private pool, lovely space outside to enjoy a glass of vino while the sun sets, two huge living spaces and spacious, cool bedrooms for the evening. The kitchen is very well equipped for any nights in and the local supermarket (perfect for your day to day needs) is a 2-3 minute walk away. Maria was a fantastic host, always very responsive and nothing was too small to be dealt with. Solid wifi connection for those who need to do any work. Perfect for friends, family or a very indulgent solo trip.

Casa Umbria is run by the Winslow family in England with husband and wife team, Gary and Maria and their daughters Francesca and Elle. The family caught the bug for Italy back in 2000 and have been trying to spread their love of Italy ever since!
Maria will be your contact throughout your stay at Casa Umbria, she speaks fluent Italian so is more than happy to book any restaurants for you, organize days out or generally help to plan and allow your holiday to run as smoothly as possible.

What makes this property unique

You will be staying far away from the tourist traps, experiencing a true taste of village life in Italy. You will more likely make friends with the locals, who always want to show off their english. Europes largest wine museum is within walking distance of the Villa and there are numerous vineyards in the local area including Trappolini, TreBotti, Madonna delle Macchie and Falesco. They offer wine tasting with delicious lunch if you want to book.
