French farmhouse with pool

Within walking distance of a sleepy picturesque market town, this well-loved and very spacious family home, makes for an ideal relaxing weekend or holiday in a group or with young families. With its pool, shady terrace, huge garden, cool interiors, large selection of toys and games, the children have plenty to do so the parents can get on with chilling out by the pool in the summer months, or relaxing by the fire in the winter. Our house is perfect for family get togethers, as we can comfortably house up to 15 people.

Entirely surrounded by the rolling countryside, with the Pyrenees shimmering in the distance, the house is nestled in a one acre park. For outdoor entertainment there is a swimming pool (not heated and so usable from May/June-September only) and a barbecue area for outdoor cooking as well as 2 terraces for dining al fresco (one very large covered terrace area - indispensable on the very hot days!), as well as a table tennis table, swing/slide set and a table football.

The rental comprises the use of the main house and gite. In total there are 5 separate sleeping areas: 5 large double bedrooms (1 with ensuite facilities, 1 with ensuite facilities and an adjoining nursery/twin bedroom, 1 suitable for those unable to climb stairs), 4 twin bedrooms, a sofa bed in the gite lounge, 3 bathrooms. If you need less beds, you can rent out only the house which sleeps up to 12. We also have 4 sets of cots and highchairs, as well as toys and games for all ages. English television and internet access are all included. End of stay cleaning is not included but can be arranged upon booking.

Whether you want to relax in an unspoilt French village with a glass of rosé, hike up a mountain, shop until you drop in beautiful central Toulouse or just relax by the pool all day, there is something here for you. The Pyrenees are within driving distance, and the pretty town of Samatan is only a 15-minute drive, with its nationally renowned bustling Monday market and leisure lake with waterslides, sandy beach, and mini-golf.
