Three Bedrooms and media room w/ sleep sofa. six flat screen smart TVs . Pac Man Arcade Game. Kitchen with granite counter tops ! Two large decks with swings, hammock, adirondack chairs, etc. Wireless internet. Docks, Seasonal (Usually 5/1 o 10/31) community swimming pool with crafts for kids, movies by the community pool, fitness center, tennis court, ship store, marina, gated community! 2.5 miles to Jennette's Pier and the OBX beautiful beaches with free public parking and bathhouses! Visit the North Carolina Aquarium, walk the miles of docks at the lovely Pirate's Cove Gated Community. Guest have access within walking distance to the fitness center, tennis courts, basketball courts and playground. Walk to restaurant, ship store, tiki bar and the beautiful marina to watch the boats bring in their daily catch of tuna, mahi-mahi and more! Go fishing and crabbing on dock behind our home! Unwind after a fun day at the beach, pool or fishing with a refreshing drink while enjoying the views and sunsets from the decks! Restful Retreat

Amazing property and beautiful location

This property was excellent in every respect. Beautifully appointed and everything we needed for a family trip. The location is stunning and access to the sights in the OBX easy to navigate. We found the renter to be first class like the house!

Beautiful property

We came to stay at Pirates Cove for the fishing tournament. The house was very nice and comfortable. Nice neighborhood to walk around and the easy walk to the restaurant at Pirates Cove. We also use the pool, which was a plus.

This house was very comfortable. It was well furnished and had just about everything we needed. The neighborhood is great and had wonderful amenities. While the property could use some updating, it made for an easy stay because we weren’t worried about everything being perfect. I’d recommend this house for anyone traveling to the area.

We were super happy with our rental. Check-in/out were easy. Location was perfect. My son loved having a TV in his room, and pac man! The hammock outside was amazing in the AM!

Peaceful getaway

We were very happy w/ the accommodations, location was great, only a few minutes' drive to Nags Head areas. Check in was super easy, did not even have to get out of the car :) The rental fee was reasonable. The house itself was great! There are no pictures of the bathrooms in the listing, but they were fine. Stairs are a little steep inside & out w/ small overlook balcony, definitely watch the little ones! Would definitely stay here again, plenty of room for 2 - 8 people comfortably!

Awesome property!

The location of this home was perfect for us. My grandson enjoyed the park (very close to house) and the fishing from the pier right next to the house. This place is very close to the Aquarium, Elizabeth Gardens & Fort Raleigh. Also very close to other locations and beaches. It's in a gated community so we felt very safe. We're definitely coming back!

Wedding Fun

My husband, my daughter and her husband, and I stayed Friday and Saturday night. She was a bridesmaid in a local wedding and we attended a rehearsal dinner party and the wedding right there in Manteo at the Basnight and Vista Creek respectively. It was a rainy weekend (Ophelia) but it turned out to be beautiful and a fantastic weekend. Great hospitality. We will definitely return someday.

Mixing Business with Tranquility, Relaxation and Beauty

Our stay was planned around a work event in Tyrrell County. I couldn’t be more excited when I came across this listing. Absolutely beautiful view with a gorgeous sunrise. We could not stop taking pictures. It was that beautiful. The home exceeded our expectations. With a glass of wine and not a care in the world, we relaxed on a hammock overlooking the canal. The home was extremely clean and provided all the necessities needed to feel at home. Check in was extremely easy. Melvin and Leslie were amazing. They were just a phone call away if needed. Mimi’s Tiki Hut (walking distance), had the best island cocktails in Dare County! So yummy! The crab cakes at Blue Water Grill and Raw Bar (next door to Mimi’s) were fantastic! Highly recommend. We repeat this event annually and we look forward to coming back and hopefully staying at the Lewis’s home again. :) Thank you again, Melvin and Leslie, for opening your home to us.

We are a family of seven, our five children, my wife and myself. Our main home is on the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Graduate of Virginia Tech. Children have graduated or currently attending University of Tampa, College of Charleston and Clemson University. We have enjoyed Pirates Cove Marina and the Outer Banks for the last 25 years! So much to do from this convenient location. We continue to have great family vacations and to make memories in this home!

Why they chose this property

My wife, my five children and myself have been vacationing in the Outer Banks for over 20 years. We use to stay at the beach until we discovered Pirate's Cove Marina (PC). Once we stayed at PC we were hooked. We never stayed anywhere else for our annual summer vacation. We loved this place so much that in 2012 we purchased this home in Pirate's Cove Marina and still love it as much as the first time we vacationed here! After repeated request to rent our home, we decided to give it a try and here we are. We hope you will enjoy this property as much as we do!

Comfortable chairs of third floor deck with awesome views of the Roanoke preservation and Roanoke Sound, parasailing, boats, jockey ridge, etc. House located on a quiet cul de sac. Parking for several vehicles. Reverse open floor plan! Upgraded kitchen for wonderful meals. Dock wrap around Pirates Cove for you walking pleasure! Gated playground, tennis courts, fitness center, basketball courts, and seasonal community pool and hot tub. Walk to the marina from this home and meet your chartered boat and observe the large fishing boats and the catch of the day! Onsite restaurant and tiki bar as well as a ship store. Once you arrive at our home, you do not have to get into your vehicle to have fun.
