Very nice house in the small, cozy village of Alta, just 10 km from Stockholm City, situated in a very nice, quiet environment.
You'll have forrest and lakes just minutes away from the house, perfect for jogging, walking and swimming!
It's just a 1 minute walk to buses that will take you straight to the city center of Stockholm in 20 minutes.
4 bedrooms, big living room, two nice patios.
118 squaremeters.

First floor:
Kitchen: Light and nice kitchen, with all the equipment you need.
Living room: Light livingroom with big couch.
Bathroom: Tiled bathroom with nice shower.
Bedroom: light and cozy bedroom with a loft bed and a desk.
Bedroom: Small room with loft bed.

Second floor:
Bedroom: Masterbedroom, with luxury Tempura mattress. Balcony outside the master bedrrom.
Bedrom nr 2: Room with a 120 cm bed and a desk.
Bathroom: Tiled bathroom with nice shower.
Hallway; equipped with a desk, perfect for working.

Garden: Gas BBQ in the garden. Lots of flowers.
Sets of tables and 6-8 chairs on two places in the garden.
Good transport to Stockholm, bus stop 1 minute from the house to the Met for connection to City. Or a 7 minutes walk to the bus to Slussen.
No need fore a own car.

My family of 5 stayed here while visiting the Stockholm area. Marie's home in Alta was perfect. Very close to the city but quiet and easy to navigate. Lovely lakes were a close walk, and Marie helpfully provided info about shops etc. The house was clean and comfortable, and everything we wanted. Marie was also a great communicator. I definitely recommend?

First of all, the location and transport links to Stockholm are perfect, you can get to the Bus in just a minute, so no problems with travelling by train. Everything is close by: From beautiful nature with lakes, forests and castles to a Coop grocery store, even a Pizza place.We felt very comfortable there, as there was plenty of space for 3 adults with a well-equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms with showers and everything else you might need for an uncomplicated holiday.We also appreciate the fast communication with Marie in case we had a question about the stay.We can highly recommend the house and our hostess, thank you very much!

Fantastic Place to Stay Outside Stockholm

Stayed here with three friends for a week while we visited Stockholm and some surrounding areas. The property is conveniently located about ~15min driving from Stockholm and a short drive from several beautiful natural parks. It is also a twelve minute drive from the Hellasgarden campground which has swimming, tennis, minigolf and more. The house itself is very well equipped and stylish. We enjoyed grilling and eating outside a few nights. Marie, the host, was always responsive and helpful. Thanks again!

A nice house to spend the summer in Sweden

Marie and her family's house is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood in Älta, south-east of Stockholm. We have enjoyed a pleasant stay at Marie's house and a sunny vacation time in Stockholm. Marie responds immediately to messages and provides quick solutions to questions. It is important to mention that the house is normally inhabited by Marie and her family. Stockholm Suburban Treasure!

To say that this vacation property is a brilliant gem would be an understatement. From the moment we arrived, we experienced nothing but peace and tranquility. No creature comfort was left to the imagination...from the patio chair cushions to the cozy couch blankets to the amazing coffee brewing system, Marie thought of everything. The accommodations were inviting, very comfy, and each member of my family slept like hybernating bears! Extras such as family games, accent candles and lighting, a washer and dryer, and fabulous stemware made our stay even more special. The proximity of this property to nature, groceries, walking trails, a beautiful lake with swimming area, and the city of Stockholm (an easy 20-minute drive) makes this Alta gem an unforgettable destination. Many thanks to Marie for her incredibly helpful hints and suggestions throughout our weeklong sojourn.

Excellent home, wonderful location

Thank you Marie and family for making your home available for our wonderful stay! We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and hope to return for a repeat visit in the future. Definitely recommend your home to future travelers! We, 1 adult and 4 teenagers, rented Marie's property for about 10 days in July 2019. I was impressed with the location of the home. It is very easy to manage without a vehicle and make your way into Stockholm, get groceries and the big bonus, there are lakes within walking distance. A wonderful thing as we were in Sweden during a heat wave - several days above 30 C. The home itself worked very well for us. The layout is great with 2 of the bedrooms downstairs (suitable for children) and 2 upstairs. The home is comfortable and inviting with all the modern conveniences. It has two outdoor spaces that provide a shady or sunny space no matter what time of the day. It was clean when we arrived, beds made and all the needed towels were provided. As a person who has rented several units, what I also appreciated was that basics spices, detergents, dish washing liquids etc was available for us to use. If you are considering staying at this property, I would definitely recommend it. We hope to return in the future!

Gemütlich und schnell in der Natur und in Stockholm

Wir hatten einen schönen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist gut eingerichtet und liegt sowohl verkehrsgünstig für einen Besuch in Stockholm (Busse gut erreichbar) als auch fußläufig zum Wald. Die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümerin hat gut und problemlos geklappt. Alles prima, danke!

Wundervolle, ruhige Unterkunft mit guter Anbindung nach Stockholm

Das Haus liegt in einem ruhigen Wohngebiet außerhalb Stockholms. Die Bushaltestelle ist fast direkt vor der Tür und mit Bus und S-Bahn ist man in gut 30min im Zentrum von Stockholm. Das Haus, das ansonsten von der Familie bewohnt wird, ist mit allen ausgestattet, was man für den Aufenthalt benötigt und die Vermieterin hilft bei jeder Frage sofort weiter! In der Nähe gibt es auch noch 2 Seen, an denen man sich entspannen kann. Ich würde die Unterkunft jederzeit weiter empfehlen!

Leuk alternatief voor verblijf in Stockholm.

Het huis is rustig gelegen; je kan er zwemmen in het meer en er is ook voldoende wandelgelegenheid. Met de bus / metro geraak je gemakkelijk in Stockholm. Na een dagje in de stad is het heerlijk om op je eigen terrasje een kopje koffie te drinken !

Goede locatie voor ontdekking Stockholm

Een fijne woning om een aantal dagen te verblijven, goede bedden, prettige indeling met alle gemakken. Goed contact met Marie en het heeft ons aan niets ontbroken. Twee geweldige dagen in Stockholm, zorg dat je een parkeerapp download, maakt autoparkeren een stuk eenvoudiger (easyparking bv) top musea, mooi oud centrum, zou er zo kunnen wonen. Dank Marie voor de gastvrijheid en wie weet tot ziens. Mocht je Nederland ooit bezoeken, je hebt mijn nummer...😀

Super - Alles wie beschrieben

great house for families&Stockholm city tours

We enjoyed a part of our holidays in this very nice and cosy house. (2adults+3children) It is perfect to visit Stockholm and neighbourhood. By bus and underground you can go easily to Stockholm city (Bus stop is about 1 minute walk from the house). Also Älta has very nice lakes and woods around. The contact with the owner was super and without any problems. absolutely worth to visit...

!!Absolut zu empfehlen!!

Für einen mehrtätigen Besuch von Stockholm mit Sightseeing hatten wir dieses Haus in Älta (Nacka) am Rand von Stockholm gebucht. Es liegt in einem sehr ruhigen, grünen Wohnviertel. In der Nähe sind zwei wunderschöne Seen und es gibt sehr viel Natur rundherum. Das Haus selbst ist ein normales, typisches, schwedisches Wohnhaus. Alles enstpricht komplett der Beschreibung der Vermieterin. Wir waren komplett begeistert vom ganzen Haus. Es war alles sehr ordentlich und wohnlich. Für eine Familie mit bis zu drei Kindern geeignet. Es gibt zwei schöne Terrassen mit Tisch/Stühlen. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Da der Ort an das Nahverkehrssystem von Stockholm angeschlossen ist (sehr hohe Frequenz), eignet sich dieser Standort perfekt für einen mehrtätigen Besuch von Stockholm. Empfehlenswert in diesem Zusammenhang die Stockholm Card und vor allem die Mehrtageskarten der Verkehrsbetriebe (da eine Einzelfahrt umgerechnet ca. 4,50 € kostet). Der organisatorische Kontakt im Vorfeld mit der Vermieterin war sehr nett und hilfreich und absolut unkompliziert. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus absolut empfehlen. 10 von 10 Punkten!!!!
