About this property
Casa Muy Facil Where Everything is Very Easy
Perched at nearly 1000 feet above sea level in the lush rainforests of Costa Rica's southern Pacific coast lies the 11 acre sanctuary known as Casa Muy Facil. For those who have yet to experience its splendor, the name means the very easy house. Whether its the description of Costa Rica's laid back lifestyle or the proximity to so many of the country's top attractions, the name fits because anything your heart desires is very easy to do here. With awe inspiring sunset views and manicured grounds teeming with native wildlife, a stay with us will heighten the senses and soothe the soul. Come on down and stay awhile.
The House is located just 20 minutes south of the town of Quepos and the regional airport. For those who'd like to enjoy the beautiful scenery, there is a coastal route from San Jose that takes about 2 hours by vehicle. There is also a 3-4 hour drive from San Jose that winds through the majestic mountains of central Costa Rica. Being that the facility owns and operates a modern, well maintained micro bus, any means of transportation from any location is" very easy."
Our in-house transportation service, insures you will never waste any of your precious moments in this beautiful country waiting on transportation. Our all-inclusive in-house concierge can arrange tours, stock the house with groceries, provide private chef services, bartenders and staff for large groups or corporate gatherings. Anything you may desire is very easy at Casa Muy Facil, just ask!!!!!
The home is a mere 25 minutes from Marina Pez Vela in Quepos, one of the world's most renowned and record-setting sport fishing destinations. Whether you want to chase giant Blue Marlin, marauding schools of sailfish or record snook and roosterfish inshore, this place has it all. The facility also owns and operates a 32ft Stamas Express fishing boat available for fishing charters, island excursions and booze cruises. Our in house concierge can get your group on a fishing trip of a lifetime in a moments notice. Our tournament tested crew and fully rigged boat will ensure the greatest opportunity for any species you choose to target. Both our transportation and boat chartering services are offered at a discount to guests at the home. Casa Muy Facil can customize your entire dream vacation package "very easily."
Four wheel drive is an absolute must for any Costa Rica adventures. We have a steep approach on the dirt public road leading to our home. Most roads in the southern zone of Costa Rica are not paved, and conditions can change with the weather, so a 4 x 4 is the only way to ensure smooth travels. Experienced local taxi drivers and small shuttle buses (12 passengers) have no problems reaching our property. So please rent a 4 x 4, or hire a professional driver!

We are so thankful for Wil. Wil is the property manager (I'm not sure of his actual title). How helped us get up and down the mountain each day. He brought us food the first day while we were trying to figure out the best plans of actions. YOU WILL NEED A 4X4. Even with a 4x4 I am not sure I would have been able to drive up this mountain! We would have been okay to just stay in this mountain home and watch the toucans all week! The house was what was pictured. It was beautiful. As some other reviews stated, there is some maintenance needed, but it does not detract from the natural beauty around this home. The walk to the pool is beautiful, but it is definitely a walk with a lot of stairs.
The house is very unique and beautiful. Has a lot of space ,and amazing pool with gorgeous views. The host Will was a great guy always responded fast and ready to help.

Costa Rica 2025
The property was beautiful, but it needs some new appliances (Microwave needs replaced (old & dirty looking) and Stove/Oven had one top burner that didn't work at all) Refrigerator was okay. People that provide maintenance for the property should always check it out prior to guests arriving. The bunk house room and bathroom were full of ants upon arrival. The kitchen sink facet needed repaired and the kitchen sink and the shower above it caused a leak and water all over the floor. The property maintenance people came out right away to access the situation. The laundry room door needs repaired and some of the grounds need a lot of upkeep (weeds and overgrowth on the stairs). The pool was great and the rest of the house was very nice. We enjoyed our stay there overall. The property would really more fantastic if the owner were to put some additional care in to the property going forward. The owner was always available on WhatsApp, so that was great! Thank you

Needs a lot of work!
MANY issues that need repair:
1. Ceiling in kitchen leaks
2. Ceiling in upstairs bedroom leaks on the bed
3. Sink in kitchen leaks constantly all over the kitchen floor
4. Upstairs bathroom shower is out of order
5. Stairs by pool broken to path for bathroom
6. Large hole in deck on front porch - horrible accident waiting to happen
7. We had to buy- since these necessary items were not provided:
-paper towels
-laundry detergent
-trash bags
-dish detergent
-aluminum foil
-plastic wrap
-salt & pepper
The view is amazing - but way too many items need to be replaced or repaired
I reached out to the owner twice - no response

Views were amazing but the house need a lot of work
There were 11 people in our group and while we enjoyed the views from the house and the wildlife that visited, the house needs a ton of work.
There were 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. One bathroom was nonfunctional and we found that out the hard way. One of us took a shower and it leaked all over the kitchen. Will, the property manager was quick to respond, but was unable to fix the problem so we were down 1 bathroom during our stay. It was unfortunate because the only other bathroom that my husband was comfortable using (without disturbing anyone at 2 am) was the one outside the house. It became frustrating to say the least.
The house is gorgeous but needs some serious updates.
We loved the pool area but like other reviewers had mentioned, it's a trek to get to.
Will was quick to respond to any of our questions and also take care of anything that requires repair like the AC not working, coffee maker all rusted and leaky bathroom. He also took care of some of our excursions but before you book, be aware that he only takes cash. It became a bit of a hassle since we didn't carry that much cash with us.
Like what other reviewers had mentioned, you need a 4X4 to get to the house. We rented 2 to accommodate our party but if you are requiring transportation (like a van) to pick you up and drop you off, we had to meet them at the bottom of the hill. We had to do some coordination with our rental cars and the van that took us from Arenal to the house and from the house to San Jose.
There were 12 of us, and it got a little upsetting due to the lack of water to shower. Plus, there were only 2 washcloths for all of us. The property manager, Will, was great, but I think the owners need to do some maintenance to the house if their going to continue advertising this as a resort. The pool is beautiful, but as an elderly person, very hard to get to.
Property was beautiful. The property manager, Will, was awesome. We came in for a fishing tournament and he set up excursions for the wife’s while we fished during the day. He helped us with groceries and anything else we needed. The view from the home was 2nd to none.
Wil was a great host. The house was terrific with a perfect view. We paid extra for brkfst and dinner. All delicious and so glad we did it. Wil arranged a monkey boat and ATV tour that were our favorite part of our week in CR. Casa Muy Facil is a 10 in our book!
Wow, where to begin!! Let me say, hands down, one of the best traveling experiences we have had. I cannot begin to explain how amazed we were by this experience and our expectations were definitely surpassed. The property, AMAZING, the pictures do not do it justice. I cannot say enough good things about Wil and Eduardo - these two were incredible hosts, cooks and guides!! We will definitely be back. I would 100% reccomend Casa Muy Facil and take advantage of what all it offers. Thank you again to Wil, until next time, Pura Vida...
Property and house are big and sprawling. Fun to explore. Views are unbelievable. Nestled in the mountains, the house is a great escape.

Pura Vida In Paradise
There is only one way to describe Casa Muy Facil and that is UNBELIEVABLE. We had a party of 13 (family reunion) with NO PROBLEMS in sleeping accommodations or the feeling we were cramped. The Villa is exquisite with its Spanish ambience, Incredible views of the Pacific, yet being in a jungle-like setting, high atop a mountain (4-wheel Drive City) - monkeys and Tucan's galore. The pool area was great for the adults and the kids. Saying all that - the BEST part was the staff. Will Mendez, the owners representative, was nothing short of incredible. We let Will plan everything - from our meals, our tours, our transportation..... we didn't have to do ANYTHING from the moment we arrived at the airport to the time we returned. We had our own, private, Estate, Costa Rican ambassador - and, a friend we have made FOREVER. Our activities included waterfalls, cliff jumping into the waterfall pools, zip-lining, Mangrove boat tours (monkeys galore - even saw and captured a Cayman), Horseback riding on the beach, beach caves..... and the list goes on! Besides Will, we had a staff of 3 to cook, clean, and look out for us who were fantastic. The food was excellent - Breakfast, Lunch, & Dinner - all with a Spanish flair.
Anyone looking to vist Costa Rica MUST stay at Casa Muy Facil - translated means Very Easy House...….. too easy...… tore our hearts out to leave.
The McDonald, Mulder, Thompson, & McDonald family - all 13 of us!

Dream Spring break trip 2018 !!
It's hard to put into words how amazing Casa Muy Facil is. We were a group of 13. 5 adults and 8 kids. Plenty of room for all. We flew SW from Houston to San Jose - simple 3.5 hour flight. There is a van service that Dustin can arrange to get you from San Jose airport to the house and back. There is plenty of room in the kitchen / family area for all. The views are spectacular. The house sits up on a hill. It requires a 4 wheel drive vehicle to get up the hill. We rented the home vehicle - it's really perfect for the experience if you plan to drive through the hills with Wil. It's a "worn" vehicle - but the AC works pretty good. Wil is a great guy. He'll contact you before your trip and help set up excursions. We did the Monkey boat tour (great for kids), Zip lining (fun), Uvita falls with Wil (a must). Be sure to climb up the waterfall and jump in ! It's a little scary at first - but just DO IT. Wil will offer to hire Rocio and Eduardo to come shop, cook and clean for you for a reasonable price. You'll be able to focus on fun and relaxation. We all enjoyed the food. They're all polite and fun.
Be sure to get up early to see the Toucans, parrots flying around.
The views from the pool can't be beat. Amazing sunsets. The pool is about 80 steps down from the house - so getting back is a bit of a work out. Buuut you'll appreciate a little exercise after enjoying the food.

Loved this place in Paradise
From the moment we booked to our arrival & departure everything was great.
Wil the caretaker communicated with us prior to our arrival and met us at the supermarket with his sister to stock up on everything we would need for a few days. They took us to the house…you definitely need a 4 x 4, we had 2 cars and one wasn’t, so we had to leave it at the bottom for the duration of the stay.
Casa Muy Facil was beyond our expectations, perched on a hill with spectacular views down to the Pacific Ocean with a clear 180 degree view. The upstairs balcony was the perfect place for sundowners with amazing sunsets…also the place to spot Toucans and other birdlife. The pool was a great place to relax, with plenty of poolside furniture
We were there for Christmas with our adult children a party of 6, there was ample space to spread out, we had a blast. Wil and Rosaire cooked the fish we caught a few nights, and took us to the local places. We had a fun time on the waterfall tour and had 2 fabulous, successful days deep sea fishing.
We’ll definitely be back.

Amazing!!!
We had a wonderful time staying at Casa Muy Facil. You absolutely need a 4x4, but once you get there, the view is totally worth it. Best lodging views I've ever seen. Seriously.
Small thing, but pool is great but there is a little 72 (ish) stair trek that might be tough for families with young kids.
Everything else was awesome. Property and finishings were stunning and very well equipped with everything you need. There was even regular visits from tucons, coati, agouti and a friendly toad (we named Gerardo).
You are central to a lot of things. Playa Dominical is definitely a surfers town, but so cute and a big favourite. Popular Playa Manuel Antonio is definitely worth a visit, but is a bit busy and touristy. The beach was awesome...sandy, good waves and beautiful. ATV'ing was a big favourite with everyone in our group.
Plenty of good places to eat - local happy lobster was nice, but the jolly roger was fun - especially for Steelers fans (but be prepared to drive up the mountain for it...).
It was such a memorable trip for us, we'd definitely rent here again. 😀

3 Families -- 16 people -- Muy Bueno
Could write forever -- house is great, Dustin McRay was great to work with on whatever we needed but the key to the whole trip is to have Wilberth and his crew take care of you. They prepared our meals, arranged our adventures and had a good time with us -- even arranged a soccer game with the kids from Mantapolo village -- The Gringos vs the The Ticos!!! Everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Been all over the world -- highly recommend.

Highly Recommend Casa Muy Facil
Amazing house with spectacular views and all the amenities you need. Nestled in the jungle/mountains but very close to Quepos, Manuel Antonio, and Domenical - all wonderful places to visit. Basically feels like you're off the beaten path, yet it's nearby lots of desirable attractions. The pool is awesome...the house sits at a slightly higher elevation with amazing views, and the pool is lower so it doesn't interfere with the house's views and has wonderful views of its own. It's really a great place with lots of room, and is perfect for a large family or a mixed group. You need car access to get up the mountain, and it's totally worth it...a perfect mix of mountains/rainforest, pool, and idyllic living space...you could call it paradise...with fun towns, beaches, and nature preserves close by. The property's grounds were beautiful, and the house itself was awesome...large space with beautiful wood interior. The property's caretaker was very helpful in terms of provisions and sightseeing recommendations. We had an absolute blast at this property and will definitely be returning.

Awesome House
Great place to stay in Savegre with plenty to do in the surrounding area. Dustin was fast with communication as was Wil, the concierge. Extremely clean place. The view doesn't get any better. Definitely need a 4wd vehicle to get up the driveway though, but it's a fun drive. Will be back again

Can't wait to go back!
We stayed at Casa Muy Facil for Spring Break and had a blast. We had 15 people in our group (6 adults and 9 kids). The house was excellent and had AMAZING views. It sits up on a mountain and we were able to sit by the pool and see beautiful sunsets every night as we looked out over the Pacific Ocean. The kids loved swimming in the pool and looking out to see toucans, lizards and other beautiful animals. Wil took great care of us and arranged everything from transportations to excursions and he even BBQ' d on the beach for us! We went zip lining, to 3 different beautiful beaches, hiked to a waterfall, went on a monkey boat tour in the mangroves, the guys went on a fishing trip, and we had many other great experiences. We would highly recommend Casa Muy Facil and hope to go back very soon!!!

Incredible stay!
We highly recommend casa muy facil. We were a group of 13 people of all ages. Everyone loved it!
Superb view, incredible pool, beautiful house surrounded by vegetation and exotic animals (lizard, toucan, peroquet,
Etc.).
We were welcomed by Wilberth who was available to our group at all times. Thanks for the many tips,
the grocery, the meal, the monkey tour, the visit of the antonio manual park and all the other attentions.
We advise this house to all those who want intimacy, comfort and friendly service.

It really is VERY EASY!
We had a large group of 16 people and stayed 5 nights. It was not long enough! We chartered a boat, and entered the Pelagic Rock Star tournament and ended up winning a trophy and over $15,000! I mean wow!!!! Really??? The house "Casa Muy Facil" lived up to it's name and then some. This place was amazing! I have never experienced anything of this magnitude in my life. You have beautiful ocean views, amazing Toucans, 3 toed sloths, Coatimundis, geckos, all types of butterflies and many more, all from the front porch(the porch facing the ocean). Oh yeah, you have a wide panoramic view of the Pacific Ocean in the day and the stars are bright and beautiful at night! The pool was spotless, the deck is amazing and there is a bar with 6 -8 stools (roughly). You can get as much sun as you can stand down at the pool. The house is really something to appreciate. Custom woodwork throughout the entire place with brand new windows and air conditioning systems that can get too cold at night if set too low, huge kitchen and the 3 bathrooms at the main house was plenty for our group. Anything you want can be made possible by way of setting up personal chefs, bartenders, drivers/guides and housekeepers. We had local sushi chefs come prepare some of the most fresh and delicious sushi and sashimi I have ever had, and I am somewhat of a sushi snob... Of course there was cooked items available and a smoked fish dip that was amazing. There is also a local restaurant just at the bottom of the mountain with really good food, The Happy Lobster just five minutes or less from the house, along with many other restaurants just a short drive away. It was by far one of the best experiences of my life. Casa Muy Facil will always have a place in my heart, and I will be back....very soon! Will definitely be chartering a boat and setting up custom services and tours as well!

Garden of Eden
Having lived on Kauai after visiting Caribbean islands and the long trip to Seychelles off Africa, I fell for Casa Muy Facil hard. I have a lot of exploring to do here. The place is much more than a 5 star Ritz Carlton (not that I've found a 10.0 anywhere with them). Service is unsurpassed. We did tourist things, monkey tour, water falls and zip line. The staff was so awesome, we saw places and beaches that normally would not have been seen. We were steered away from places that were a rip off and saw the real local scene and felt fortunate they shared a piece of their country with us. Amazing comfort in Casa Muy Facil that I cannot spend enough time to share. It's a 12.5 in a scale of 1 to 10. The view from the porch and all over the property far exceeded my expectations. A must for your bucket list. Even if you have experienced Costa Rica, you have not experienced this way.
