Description - A beautiful and large apartment that can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 people, completely renovated and furnished with prestigious furniture. It consists of an entrance with a small lounge with a sofa bed, complete kitchen, bathroom, one double bedroom and one room with bunk bed. The apartment is equipped with all comforts from air conditioning to the microwave. The apartment is located in the heart of Venice just 50m. away from Campo San Giacomo Dell’Orio, where there are numerous restaurants, bars, shops, etc, just 5 minutes from Rialto and 10min from St Mark’s.

Location - The position is central, the apartment is situated in San Giacomo dell’Orio, one of the most antique and evocative of the Campi of Venice. The church in the campo is a true
artistic jewel. In a few minutes it is possible to reach the museum of Cà Pesaro (3 min), Campo San Polo, Campo dei Frari (3 min), the Scuole Grandi di San Giovanni e San Rocco, where interesting evening concerts are held and the characteristic rio Marin (2 min), while an pleasant walk of approximately ten minutes takes you to Rialto. The area has typical wine cellars, restaurants and interesting stores, in which it is possible to acquire classic souvenirs and also handicraft objects.

Comfortable and easy

Very nice place, location was excellent, we didn’t spend a ton of time in the apartment because there was so much to do but it was clean and comfortable.

Excellent location, but less than excellent property

The location of this apartment was quite nice…situated on a quiet street, but with easy access to cafés and restaurants. The building itself isn’t necessarily quiet as we heard our upstairs neighbors in the morning and at night (whenever we were in the room). Additionally, the apartment did have three beds, but none were comfortable (they were quite firm and lumpy). We can’t speak to the pull out sofa as we only sat on it once, heard a load creak, and feel towards the middle (as it is quite worn down). The air conditioners did work and the cool air was nice, but the apartment felt quite humid and damp; we were unable to alleviate this. The pictures online are beautiful, but just didn’t match to the reality we experienced.

Quiet neighborhood with great location

The location is is great! Short walk to the main canal, train station, & Ponte degli Scalzi bridge. The neighborhood was also really nice. Quite, with a bunch of great places to eat near by, food and drinks. The beds where not that comfortable and the space was on the small side but it was a greta deal with a great location. 4 stars

Below average rental

Welcome to the soulless and charmless rentals of this tour operator company. First you enter a dark ground floor kitchen with a worn out pull out couch, you need a kitchen knife but it’s bent and cheap. What is that smell? Scent perfume to hide the mold smell. Good Lord, what a dump for 200 a night with fees. Our other rental we changed from yesterday was infinitely better. Wait what are those little dark red smudges on the walls? Lots of them. Squashed mosquitoes. Where are the anti-mosquito devices? Good I have one because you will not find anything in the rental beyond the bare minimum (half a roll of toilet paper and no salt for the kitchen is what we noticed). I’ll put the Mozzie repellent in my daughters windowless room-closet. Today is Sunday no way to contact the rental agency and do I want to bother as I’m leaving tomorrow and who wants more excuses for this sad place. We will just spend as much time as possible outside this sorry dungeon as possible. Tip: don’t leave your food uncovered in the kitchen as the ceiling paint flakes down when the neighbors upstairs walk around. It must be the high humidity which explains the dehumidifier buckets also I don’t think it’s lead paint so you should be fine.
