Unique A-frame eco cabin among the olive trees

Come and enjoy a unique and peaceful stay surrounded by olive trees.

We are located on an old olive grove on which we started developing a self-sustaining off the grid project.
The self-sustainability comes from the olive grove, organic vegetable garden, animals, and building with recycled and natural materials.
We’re truly happy to be living in these beautiful surroundings and would love to share this with everybody.

The cabin with its own facilities stands in the middle of the olive grove.
The cabin is made out of recycled and natural materials. Its equipped with its own outdoor kitchen with a 2 burner stove, coolbox with ice packs what we keep swapping for you during your stay and other necessities. A seating area and compost toilet.
The bedroom has a comfortable sized 160x200 bed and comes with linen and towels.

From June the 15th till September you can use the small two person plunge pool that is located near the cabin. The plunge pool belongs to the cabin and is completely private at your disposal.

The cabin does not have any electricity but there is a charging station on side which can be used to charge your laptop or mobile phone.
Indoor and outdoor lighting is provided with use of solar energy.
You’re free to use the whole terrain including it’s shower block, Wi-Fi hotspot and the different lounge areas.

It is possible to put up your own tent near the cabin, so you can bring more people. Please let us know in advance.

We are located near the rustic Spanish village or Mas de Barberans. (2km)
The Village is known for its artisanal braids made with natural products such as the European Fan Palm.
A local dish which Mas de Barberans is known for is called Ternasco which is served in both restaurants you'll find in town. The village also offers you a place to do your groceries.

The olive grove looks out over the Montsia mountains and nature reserve Els Ports.
The entrance is a short 7 km down the road.
There are several hiking and mountain bike trials on which you might want to go cross paths with wild goats, spectacular rock formations, canyons, caves, waterfalls and natural springs, but you can also enjoy a nice picnic.

Things to do and places to visit:
- Serra del Montsia mountains 35km, Lovely nature park which is great for hiking or mountain climbing. From the top you'll have a spectacular view of the Ebro Delta.
- Ebro Delta (Delta de Lébre) 25km, A national park that is known for its rice fields and more than 300 bird species, like flamingos who make this their habitat all year around.
- River Ebro (Ribera dÉbre) 20km, The longest river in Spain which opens in the Ebro Delta.
Popular amongst fishermen and kayak lovers.
- Ulldecona Dam (Embassament dÚlldecona) 25km, Beautiful reservoir.
- Via Verde Alcaniz-Tortosa 20km, An amazing bike ride (100km) just cycling a part of this route is a great experience.
- Beaches 35km, There are several beautiful beaches just a short drive out.
- Many historical villages but also big cities like Valencia and Barcelona are well worth a day trip.
