Susan was a delight - very helpful and engaging. The Lily Pad itself was comfortable and peaceful. Greatly enjoyed our stay, as Port Orford is a fantastic little town with seemingless endless choice for hiking and siteseeing
Pet friendly! We’ll stock kitchen tools, we didn’t use anything past coffee. But saw all the kitchen tools and equipment, you could pretty much make anything you want plus a BBQ.Clean and very quiet.Would differently book again in the future.Thank You
Susan is a very enthusiastic host and did everything possible to make our stay enjoyable. And it was! We were in Port Orford for a long weekend to attend the Winter Waters festival. Lily Pad is in a great location. It is very comfortable and well appointed. There are just two of us and the house can hold more, but we felt snug just the same. Lily Pad is exactly what we were looking for. We will stay again the next time we visit Port Orford.
Can’t say enough great things about the Lily Pad. Starting with Susan who is the most welcoming and thoughtful host. The house is not only clean, cozy and so comfortable, it also has every amenity you could hope for. We had a wonderful stay and a great Thanksgiving family get together. I’d travel more if every stay was as nice!

Thanks, Kelly. I loved meeting you, kindred spirit that loves what the Brits call "character" houses. The Lily Pad thanks you for the TLC you gave her -- never has anyone left the house so clean! All the best - Susan
I really appreciated Susan’s personal welcome and tour of her charming house. The house had all of the comforts of home and was cozy and comfortable. The neighborhood was quiet. I especially enjoyed being so close to the beach. I look forward to my next stay at the Lily Pad.

Thank you, Lisa. Port Orford is a gem of a small town -- like the agates on the beach! Hope to see you again!
We had a great time, it was so nice and quiet. Great place to stay. She has everything you need in the house. If you have small children do bring your own toys.
Susan, the host was very responsive and friendly. She had good information about the area in the house, and her book on the place was very informative. I had everything I needed to cook and prepare meals. She even got the large crockpot out for me. We would stay here again.
Loved the Lily Pad. Susan is so accommodating. Her recommendations for restaurants and activities were spot on! A very comfortable home away from home.

The Lilly Pad was a nice place to rest.
The Lilly Pad was a nice place to rest. Port Orford and the surrounding area offer lots of nice nature, history and art. The owners were very friendly and we would stay here again. It is a good value.
We have stayed in many places and this is one of my favorite places we've stayed! The only issues we had were small and taken care of right away by the host, who was also great to work with. Love the decor and the covered back patio which was a treat during the stormy conditions.

Thank you for leaving everything so clean. It was great meeting you and your family. Hope to see you all again, maybe when the sky gods are less angry!
The Lily Pad is a short walk to anything you may need, we had a great stay but to short. Susan was so great of a host and under standing, would definitely stay here again.

It was great to meet you all! Hope Port Orford becomes a new vacation destination.
The property was great! King bed was super comfy and the pillows. We had a great time escaping the rain! Susan is very friendly and accommodating. The listing said there was a coffee bean grinder but when we got there it wasn’t there. Susan said she’d go get one from her house. The water isn’t so great- make sure to bring bottled water if you need it. She has an old filter but it takes awhile to work. The house was built in the 40’s and she likes to keep things there from that period. I’d totally stay there again!

Why they chose this property
Showing our town to out-of town friends, we passed this cute cottage which was for sale. Our friend said, "I'd like to live in that one!" Long story short -- we bought it and now offer it for your enjoyment.
What makes this property unique
The Lily Pad is just plain cozy, like going to Gramma's. Enjoy...
