The Buddington Haus is a treasured home on a quiet road along Icicle Creek, located three miles outside of Leavenworth Village and just a half-mile below the National Fish Hatchery with views into the majestic Enchantments of the Cascades. Enjoy as a peaceful escape into nature or use as a comfortable home base for enjoying all the activities Leavenworth has to offer. Welcome to the home that earlier generations of this family-owned home built with love and care that is designed to be shared with the whole family.
The house has three comfortable bedrooms, a large, eat-in kitchen perfect for making meals, and a formal dining room. Just outside the kitchen, you’ll find a private gas grill for warm-weather cooking. There are a private washer and dryer, multiple wood stoves, and fireplaces with wood provided, and comfortable furnishings that welcome you like a warm hug.

The comfortable basement bedroom has its own wood stove, piano, movie nook, a Ping-Pong table for hours of fun, and two comfortable beds for additional sleeping space. WiFi and cable are complementary.
Outdoors, you’ll find yourselves in a landscape of unparalleled beauty with access to numerous outdoor activities. Enjoy your view of the Enchantments from either of the spacious outdoor decks while planning your next adventure.
During summer, Icicle Creek ('The Icicle') is prime for tubing, rafting, and paddleboarding. Inner-tube or raft from Buddington Haus to the Village after a few hours of gentle floating - or you can raft the Wenatchee with professional guides for an exciting and safe adventure. When the salmon season is open, the 'Rock' below the house provides an opportunity for the catch of a
lifetime. A drive up the canyon along Icicle Road provides access to all levels of hiking, picnicking, backpacking, fishing, and rock climbing. Bring bikes and enjoy the seven-mile loop into Leavenworth.
Come during the winter and use Buddington Haus as a home base for winter sports. Stevens Pass is just over 37 miles away, Mission Ridge Ski & Board Resort is just under 38 miles away, and definitely try out the Leavenworth Winter Sports Club’s things to do five miles from the home. This includes the only ski jump on the entire west coast!
Leavenworth Village is a charming place where you can enjoy shopping, sample the local restaurants, wineries, and biergartens, or listen to live entertainment. Find Christmas decorations, a good book, or the perfect gift in a carefully curated local shop. Visit Village Art in the Park to peruse art forms of all types from local and regional artists. To enjoy your own homemade meal, we recommend Dan’s Food Market just over three miles away - be sure to try some of their delicious local prepared breads, smoked salmon, and roasted coffees. In summer, the Leavenworth Summer Theater is a must but guests should make reservations early. The musicals at the Hatchery are within walking distance and 'The Sound of Music' is at the Ski Hill Amphitheater. Buddington Haus (and the family) welcome you!

Parking notes: There is free parking available for 4 vehicles.
Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
