This is the fourth year we have stayed at one of your cabins. As always, it was a fabulous experience. You provide all the essentials which makes for less stress for us in case we forget something. Looking forward to next year!
Great location, quiet place to stay, nice stream close to property. We cooked lake trout that we caught in the Beartooths. Good place to base out of to see Yellowstone.
We had a great time visiting Yellowstone with this cabin being our “home”. The cabin was very clean, had all the basics we would need for our stay and the property manager was just a call away when we needed them!

Thank you for taking such great care of our cabin! Glad you enjoyed your stay! And thanks for help and patience on the dish set up… Robin
Everything we could have needed was there for our use. Convenient location to YNP and a beautiful drive from Cody over Chief Joseph Hwy. We would definitely rent here again.
This cabin was spotless! Having a cooler, camp chairs, and supplies needed to get started on our trip was wonderful! We especially loved the small touches (coffee and filters, salt, pepper, sugar, shampoo, etc). We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful location, enjoyed it greatly
The cabin was spotless. It was the perfect size and in a great location. They had all the information for Yellowstone that we needed in the cabin. We enjoyed our stay! Even saw a moose a few miles from cabin! Highly recommended!!
The only thing that I can possibly say that isn’t positive is that the pictures don’t show that the cabin is in a neighborhood and not as isolated as it appears in pictures. It was immaculately clean and very comfortable. It was completely stocked with anything you would need; including the kitchen. We were pleasantly surprised that satellite television was available.

Great cabin, clean and comfortable. Downfall was a bad odor that remained all week.
Owners did good job providing basic needs.
Odor was likely from a dead animal in crawl space.

We are so sorry you had an odor. This the first we have heard of this. We would have sent someone up to take care of if we would have known. We will make sure to check it out and resolve the problem. Thanks. Robin

Everything we needed
This cabin was as advertised and had everything we needed for an enjoyable family vacation. The three bedrooms offered privacy and space for our two adult children. We enjoyed the open concept of the kitchen, eating area and living room. The owners were VERY helpful and checked in with us when we arrived and again later in the week to make sure we all of our needs were met. We spent two days traveling to Yellowstone and another on Beartooth Pass.

Perfect stay for Yellowstone!
We loved the cabin as it was very spacious and had great views. The owners were very responsive with our questions. The neighborhood was so quiet and we could only hear the river running. And we were only 30 minutes from the Northeast Entrance of Yellowstone! The only complaint would be the stove as it seemed to be on its last leg. Everything else was great. Thanks again from Missouri!

Glad that you enjoyed the cabin and thanks for the note on the stove. We will get it checked and get it repaired. Thanks. Robin
We enjoyed our stay at this nice cabin with three bedrooms. It was well cared for and clean when we arrived. We did arrive later than expected and with it being mostly dark it was a bit difficult to read the signs posted out front to indicate which cabin was ours. The area is beautiful it was about 30-35 mins to the NE entrance of Yellowstone. The cabin was well furnishesd with cooking supplies, bathroom needs and towels which was great since every day we had 5 people washing off the bug spray that helped keep the crazy mosquitoes at bay! If returning to Yellowstone through the NE entrance we would definitely stay here again!

Loved It!
Overall the cabin was clean and had all we needed and more. Be advised that it is outdated and the carpet is coming up in places. We didn't care but I know some people would prefer updated places. We will definitely stay here next time we go to Yellowstone. It's about 30 minutes from the entrance and saved us money making breakfast and dinner every night. So happy with this find.

Yes the cabin definitely takes you back to the 70s. Glad that even with the dated decor it was clean, comfortable and had what you needed for your stay...agree if you are looking for top of the line modern cabin this isn't place for some guests. Hope to have you back again. Thanks. Robin
This is a perfect location to access Yellowstone through the north entrance. The drive to the cabin from Cody along the Chief Joseph highway is absolutely gorgeous!! My only feed back is I couldn't get the base board heat to work in the third bedroom and I wish there were instructions on how to operate the fireplace/wood stove. Both are minor issues and we had a great time!!

Thanks for feedback. I will make sure everything is working properly on heating the 3rd bedroom and how to use fireplace.
Glad you enjoyed your stay and got to experience the beautiful areas - so hard to capture how the beauty of the area . Thanks. Robin
We love the general Cooke City area, even though it involves some driving to Yellowstone Park, and the surrounding area is spectacular in itself. Rustic but served our family needs. Located in a small neighborhood of cabins. Very well outfitted, which is important since nearest full grocery store is in Cody. Be sure you are clear on what managers offer and what you need to bring. Our only quibble is that description mentions outdoor firepit, but there was no split wood or means to split is. Stayed two weeks with five total people. Very satisfied.

Beautiful cabin and getaway!!!
Great cabin in a great location! 3 good size bedrooms with comfortable queen size beds. Nice big bathroom with shower. Kitchen is a good size for cooking with lots of counter space. Coffee, sugar, flour, salt and pepper provided. Plenty of plates, flatware, glasses, mugs for family of 8. Short walk to Clarks Fork for fantastic fishing! Used spinners here but fly fishing would be even better. Owners are very thoughtful and wanted to make sure we were happy and enjoying ourselves. Cabin also has a good size gas grill and a fire pit. Also a picnic table outside and chairs. They provide a cooler as well. Fridge is full size. Lots of firewood provided. TV and DVD player (not Bluray) provided, the sofa also pulls out to a bed. Close to Cooke City and northeast Yellowstone entrance and horseback riding at Skyline on the way to Cooke City. It can get cold at night and we loved that! We will definitely be staying here again. Great price and wonderful owners, this cabin really made our summer vacation a success!

So happy to hear you enjoyed the cabin for a great get away for your family! Keep in touch! See you next time...Robin
We liked it - had everything you’ll need; including all household items & cleaning/hygiene items. We stayed two weeks, and just hung out leisurely. As stated by others, the location is great. The red building in Cooke City is the place to get food and supplies...the store a mile away is no longer open, and the Trading Post in Cooke City is only for trinkets. We did 4-5 days in Yellowstone - no animals, except lots of Bison & the occasional elk in Mammoth. We loved the drive going the opposite way to Red Lodge...we saw a mother grizzly & 3 cubs. There are a couple of things I didn’t like about the cabin - first, it’s not isolated...it’s with a group of other cabins. Second, the sprinkler was run just before our arrival, and the mosquitos were horrible. Third, I couldn’t figure out how to get down to the river without trespassing on someone’s property - instructions didn’t make me feel like I wasn’t going to get shot by somebody. With that said, the cabin is cozy & comfortable. They have satellite TV, nice furniture, and everything you’ll need to enjoy your stay.

Thank you for staying at our cabin. You are correct the cabin is not isolated and is in an area with several cabins around. Yes so great for our future guests to know. Our apologies for sprinklers running when you arrived - we have them set to run daily to keep as much green around the cabin and unfortunately there can be mosquitoes. There is a trail that is fairly heavily used that we have provided directions to that is right by the property that does have a no trespassing sign marked on private property but the trail does not go through their property. Sorry that you didn’t feel safe, but he had no issues with our guests going down to the river on the trail. And we did just recently learn of Painter Outpost not being open, so we have let our future guests know. Glad that you found the cabin to well stocked in what you need and nice furnishing Thanks for staying with us and for taking great care of our cabin. Thanks. Robin
It is a very nice cabin. The managers were always available and helpful. cabin is very clean and nicely decorated. not that far from Cooke City and the North East gate to Yellowstone. Unfortunately the gate was closed due to this years flood damage but they had began road construction when we left and said it might be open in October. Very nice place to spend a vacation. Rented an off road vehicle and went up in the mountians at Cooke City, beautiful scenery and wildflowers everywhere. Thank you to our host for the rental of a very nice clean cabin.
This beautiful cabin was perfect, cozy and clean with enough room for the six of us. The beds were super comfortable . The kitchen was well equipped for our big breakfasts that started our days. The location was strategically placed for launching our backpacking trips and day hikes in the surrounding mountains. Idyllic!
We really enjoyed this quaint cabin 25 minutes from the NE entrance to Yellowstone. The area around the cabin is very safe and scenic - we had a grizzly cub pay a visit to the front yard our first evening. We watched him from inside the cabin through the large front picture window. He walked right up to the window, raised up and watched us from the outside. Too cute, but we knew mama bear was close, so we stayed inside.
The river just a short walk down the road is absolutely beautiful! Saw lots of paw prints, but no bears there. We did see 2 bald eagles right around the river. Majestic!
The cabin is fully equipped and very comfy. You can't go wrong with this choice!
