Lovely cottage with outside space and parking with an electric vehicle car charger

VISIT ENGLAND GOLD AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE
Woodgate Cottage is nestled on the hillside overlooking the river in Looe. It comfortably accommodates 6 guests with three bedrooms all ensuite, has parking outside the door with an electric vehicle car charger and a patio area and balcony which are West facing so get plenty of sunshine on in to the evening.
On the ground floor is the comfortable lounge with doors that open out on to the patio area, a flat screen TV with bluray DVD and a PlayStation 3 console. An archway leads through to the dining area with table and six chairs. A few stairs take you to the first floor where there is a well equipped, fully fitted, modern kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, extractor, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, coffee maker and washer/drier. Also on this floor is the bunk room with en suite shower room.
A few more stairs lead up to the second floor where the large master bedroom has a superking size bed. There is a spacious ensuite bathroom with jacuzzi bath and separate shower. This bedroom has access out on to the furnished balcony. The twin bedroom, also on this floor, has again a large en suite bathroom with bath and separate shower and this room also has access out on to the balcony. All bedrooms have a TV with DVD player as does the lounge and with the Playstation as well there is plenty to keep the children occupied on a rainy day!
Looe town centre and the main Looe beach are a 10-15 minute walk (a bit longer on the way back up the hill!); the town has numerous shops, eateries and pubs and the pretty working harbour is a must see in Looe. The stunning South West Coastal path is a favourite with walkers. Guests can be sure of a comfortable stay all year round at Woodgate, it is the perfect spot for a family holiday.

It was a really great holiday in Cornwall and specially in Looe and at Woodgate! We loved to travel there and enjoyed our stay there! Only the way and down from the Woodgate Cottage was an challenge for us. We werent used to this narrow and steep ways. Thanks for all! Greetings

Heerlijk huisje. Snelle reactie op onze vragen aan de verhuurder. We vinden überhaupt de mensen in deze omgeving uiterst vriendelijk. Alles was goed schoon op de groef in de eettafel na. Een aantal pannen hebben we extra schoon gemaakt maar dat komt waarschijnlijk door korte vaatwasprogramma.We kunnen het huisje zeker aanraden.

Lovely stay in Looe

Woodgate is a great property just at ten minute walk from Looe. The place has been kept well by the owners, and they provide just about everything you want. The bedrooms can easily accommodate the average family, and the layout meant they would even suit one with grandparents. The level of cleaning during Covid times was very impressive, with nothing left untouched. We enjoyed the walks and runs from the property into Looe, meaning we could leave the car at home. When your only real complaint is that there was no omelette pan, you’re really nitpicking! We’ll be looking to come back here should we stay in Looe again.

Lovely property

The house was very clean and contained all the cutlery, plates, etc that you want for a self catering holiday. The views were excellent but the downside was a very steep uphill walk back from the town centre. The positives to this was a quiet location away from the hustle and bustle with only a short downhill walk to town. Overall the positives easily outweighed this minor negative. Would definitely stay there again.

Spacious property with beautiful outlook

Well equipped, nicely furnished, none of us felt cramped, it was lovely to sit on the balcony. Just a warning - the drive up to it is alarmingly steep, but we got used to it, and the walk down to Looe not suitable for the infirm.
