About this property

Renovated cabin 2 easy blocks to the beach and close to the Moclips River


We look forward to providing you with a renewed sense of rest and relaxation by being able to offer a reasonably priced and wonderful getaway at our Moclips Beach Cabin just steps away from the ocean beach. Bring your favorite book to read and snuggle by a cozy fire in our wood stove. Or bring a blanket down to the beach to watch the sun set. We do offer books to read and to take home with you.

Relax in our large comfortable cabin. We are able to accommodate a small group or a large crowd with a second kitchen upstairs. We offer a fully equipped kitchen downstairs with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, a large living room with a wood-stove (bring your wood or buy it at the local store).

For Razor Clam Digs, you will need to bring your own clam guns or shovels along with your clamming license then enjoy fresh clam chowder with your own clams! Clean your clams with our portable clam table (located in the garage) and hook it up to the garden hose to avoid getting sand in the kitchen sink!

The cabin is located on a large double lot available for outdoor games or backyard campfire and yummy s'mores! The Moclips Cabin has two small bedrooms down stairs (one with a double bed and the second with a single bed.) The bathroom downstairs has a grab bar for safe access into the tub. Nice flat screen TV in the living room. The cabin has wifi access and basic cable. The Surf House espresso cafe in Pacific Beach has free wifi and great cinnamon rolls. You can get great cell service (for most carriers) while walking on the beach. Cell service is available in the cabin depending on your provider. Ocean Storms my temporarily affect local internet service.

The upstairs offers a spacious great room with a new queen size Beautyrest Firm Mattress. A fun Kids-room is available in a separate room with two single beds. The upstairs is complete with a kitchen and bathroom. Nice small deck upstairs with a peak-a-boo view of the ocean. Lots of great books for reading are available. Get ready to just kick back and relax. Beach chairs and towels available.

The cabin has a 2-night minimum (3 nights during holiday periods). Exceptions made be made during non-holiday periods. This is a pet-friendly cabin with a dog bed and separate dog bowls available. (Since we are a pet-friendly residence, individuals with extra sensitivities may elect to choose a pet-free VRBO to rent.

Firewood is not provided for your VRBO stay so please remember to pick up your wood for an outdoor campfire or a cozy fire in the wood stove.

A non-refundable cleaning fee of $75 and a 11.8% tax will apply

We had a great stay and used the very accommodating kitchen area the most. We celebrated Thanksgiving and I could not have asked for a better kitchen set up! The appliances all work great, the fridge is huge and there are so many utensils and cookware that everything went according to plan. There are so many clever rooms and nooks & crannies to hide out and read or play games or puzzles. We kept toasty warm with a fire but the wall heaters were more than enough to keep us cozy. We loved it and would love to stay again in warmer weather next time!

We love this little beach house!

This is our 6th year staying at the beach house. We're already planning our schedules for next summer. We love the location, with the easy walk to the beach. The house has everything we need. The kitchen is one of the best stocked ones we've stayed at.

Enjoyed this place. Was quiet, kitchen well stocked. Easy access to beach. My sister and I stayed here last year- will come back again. Quiet beach getaway

The location was great with a short walk to a beautiful beach with lots of sand dollars to collect. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for cooking. We appreciated the instruction book with ideas of places to sightsee and how to check in and out of the property. Beds were comfy and the woodstove was a nice touch. The only negatives were the living room tv kept shutting off for no apparent reason and parts of the house smelt like wet dog. But when dogs are welcome, I guess that goes with the territory. All in all, it was a nice relaxing getaway.

My sister owned property in Moclips and I was lucky to find this lovely older cabin.

What makes this property unique

The Moclips Beach Cabin was actually set up as a duplex and can accommodate two families who can either prepare meals together or cook separately in the two kitchens. Currently, I rent the whole house out as a package.
