Nice, quiet, huge garden

My wife and I and our two dogs had a very pleasant stay in the house in the Bourbonnais. The house is well appointed, it is situated in a quiet surrounding but close to the village of Montmarauld which has all the necessary shops (boulangerie! bar! Carrefour). There is a lot to see and do in the area. We loved the huge garden and the dogs did too. We recommend it!!!!!

Beautiful holiday!

We have spent 2 weeks in this wonderful charming house and we loved everything about it! The house itself is beautifully decorated with a lot of thought and character. It is generously equipped and is simply pleasant to spend time in. The garden enclose is spacious and has few sitting areas scattered around and plenty of furniture. We enjoyed dining outside as the weather was just perfect most of the time. The surrounding is rural and very peaceful. Cows were looking at us from the field across the road. In the nearby town of Monmarault there is everything one needs in terms of food shopping and internet. There is plenty to do around. Around 30 mins from there there is an adventure park where you can do kayaking, high ropes forest cycling and more. The pictorial village of Herrison is not to be missed and if you are interested in history, there are plenty of chateaux and fortresses around to explore. Finally, the owners are lovely, helpful and welcoming. We will surly come back!!!

Un bon séjour au coeur du bourbonnais. On peut se baigner tout proche de la maison, à Lapeyrouse. Nous avons fait du velorail également la bas.Un très bon accueil avec une hôte aux petits soins pour nous.

Très belle maison et remplie de charme

Endroit très agréable pour passer un bon moment en famille. Vos animaux adoreront le jardin ! Près de lac et toutes commodités et surtout propriétaires charmants et très serviables. Je recommande pour une bouffée de verdure loin du béton.

Semaine bucolique

Tout etait conforme à l'annonce. Le plus, de très bons matelas, donc des nuits fraiches dans la chambre du rez de chaussée et plus chaudes a l'etage. Nous avons pu nous promener aux alentours, manger dans le jardin et lire à l'ombre des arbres. Un sejour tel qu'on l'imaginait. Nous avons été tres bien reçus par Simone et avons eu le plaisir d'echanger avec les proprietaires avant notre depart. Je recommande à quiconque recherche un séjour calme et simple.

Im Herzen Frankreichs

Zwei Wochen Ende Juni 2023, zum ersten Mal in der Auvergne und Alliers.Das Haus und der große Garten waren perfekt für uns und unseren Hund. Absolute Ruhe, das gelegentliche (entfernte) Muhen einer Kuh irgendwo stellt die akustische Abwechslung dar, dies und das Quaken der Bewohner des gegenüberliegenden Tümpels.Das Restaurant in Blomard (2min zu Fuß) war geschlossen, sonst gibt es dort nichts, auch keinen Bäcker, aber die wenigen Fahrminuten nach Montmarault sind auch mit dem Fahrrad schnell zurückgelegt. Angesehen haben wir uns Moulin, Souvigny, Montlucon, Vichy und Clermont-Ferrand, aber auch St. Pourcain in der Nähe (20 Minuten) mit seinem Weinanbau ist natürlich einen Besuch wert. Klar, Charroux sollte ebenfalls angesteuert werden, wir hatten uns den heißesten Tag dafür ausgesucht, was besonders für den Hund nicht so witzig war. Kanufahren auf der Sioule bei Ebreuil ist sehr schön. Generell kann man "viel Natur" genießen. Unser 15jähriger Sohn angelte, ihm gefiel es in Alliers, auch wenn das nicht SEIN Urlaub war, da keine Kennenlernmöglichkeiten von Gleichaltrigen. Besonderen Spaß hatten wir an und in dem Trucker-Restaurant C' la pause. Keine Speisekarte, das 4-Gang Menü für 16€ war solide & lecker, der lokale Dialekt sorgte dafür, dass wir uns überraschen ließen, was auf dem Teller sein würde. Dazu die "urigen" Soundbytes der französischen Camion-Fahrer. Es wird nicht unser letzter Aufenthalt in Alliers gewesen sein, sehr gerne auch wieder im Haus von Annie-Claude!

Toiles d'araignées et araignées dans ttes les pièces. Problèmes d'éclairage dans les chambres,de simples spots posés sur le sol , 2 sur ' ont grillé le 2ème soir . Lave-vaisselle absent .Devant notre protestation,un lave-vaisselle à été livré en urgence le mercredi midi .Cuisine très peu pratique, pas adaptée à une famille de 5 pers, très peu d'ustensiles de cuisine. Terrasse en plein soleil avec un parasol et une table de jardins trop petits et un autre parasol ,fixé dans le milieu du jardin .Mauvaises herbes .Gazon tondu en urgence le lundi midi . Bref ,location plutôt inconfortable malgré une déco qui se veut authentique et et de très beaux meubles .

Je ne veux même pas entrer dans cette polémique et inventaire grotesque. Les vacanciers avant et après ce Mr ont tous été enchantés par le lieu et l’environnement. Je ne comprends pas pourquoi ce Mr a retenu la maison de Laure car elle ne correspond en rien à ses critères. Nous détestons plastiques, meubles IKEA stéréotypes, cheap. Pas de chance pour le lave vaisselle Bosch qui est tombé en panne deux semaines avant son arrivée mais qui était réparable. Nous l’avons remplacé vite et il a été dédommagé pour ses 3 jours sans. Tout le reste est anecdotique. Araignée : ça arrive à la campagne et surtout l’été. La dame qui gère la maison ne les a vues. Les spots marchent ?? La tonte du champ est faite 2 fois par mois par le jardinier l’été. Le jardinier ne vient jamais le WE. Beaucoup de meubles de jardin disponibles. Faux problème. Vacancier extrement désagréable. De toute évidence : lui conseiller une maison aseptisée et sans charme.

La maison de campagne bourbonnaise

On ne peut qu'être bien dans cette jolie maison de campagne confortable et meublée avec goût d'objets, meubles et tissus au charme raffiné et authentique. Je dirai que pour moi c'est la maison de campagne idéale située au coeur d'une région à découvrir absolument. L'accueil de Simone est une joie supplémentaire.

Idylle pur

Romantisches kleines sehr gemütliches Haus mit großen eingezäuntem Garten - prima für den Hund - und Blick über die sanften Hügel des Bourbonnais. Montmarault ist 3 km entfernt, kleinerer Ort mit tollen Bäckern, Töpferei und Supermarkt. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig, Annie ist sehr nett und sympathisch, alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir hatten eine richtig gute Zeit!!

Rien à redire, c'était parfait.

Un accueil très chaleureux. Une propriétaire à l'écoute et très accessible. Le lieu et la maison sont très favorables, reposant et entouré de verdure, le jardin est magnifique, et nous avons passé un très très bon séjour. Bien évidemment nous allons revenir. Un lieu à ne pas manquer.

Très bon séjour

Propriétaires très accueillants, maison vraiment jolie et bien décorée correspondant aux photos, cachet de l'ancien, très fonctionnelle. Pour un tableau parfait reste juste le canapé du salon, qui, même si c'est un très beau meuble ancien ne permet vraiment pas de regarder la télé après une grosse journée de visites. Et le wifi qui mériterait un relais car très faible dans la chambre (rdc). Nous conseillons vivement cette location à prix accessible.

Merci pour votre appréciation et commentaires. Oui le canapé Napoleon III a été ré tapissé esthétiquement et à l’anglaise mais c’est vrai très Recamier. Ai très Tendance, j’avoue à privilégier l’esthétisme. Il faudra faire le pas vers qq chose de fonctionnel, ce qui me navre. Quant à La wifi : a considérer un système Amplificateur ? Commentaires toujours très utiles.
