Lovely 4 bedroom villa between Lagos & Luz

Casa Rocha Baixa is a beautiful 4 bedroom villa with pool. Fantastic entertaining space with outdoor bbq area and outdoor dining area.

Situated on a secluded estate a few minutes drive from Luz Beach and the centre of Lagos. The villa is just adjacent to the Aldeia Azul Resort which has all kinds of activities incl tennis, volleyball and restaurants.

The property has 4 double bedrooms. 2 of the bedrooms feature double beds and two with twins. There is a large kitchen with all of the mod cons making it ideal for a self-catered holiday.

We have broadband internet and wireless connection. TV in the main room and kids rooms with DVD players attached. Fantastic hi-fi system with s Bluetooth connectivity and speakers throughout the house and outside.

There's ample parking and a lovely shaded garden with hammocks etc.

From this location its just a couple of minutes drive to Praia de Luz and maybe 5-10 minutes into the centre of Lagos. So very close to all the action but on a very quiet and private estate so the best of both worlds.

For golfers, Boa Vista golf course is literally a couple of minutes away and is really stunning. Espiche is another nice course just nearby and Palmares over on the other side of town is only 15 minutes away.

Everything you might need for a fun filled week in the sun!

Perfect holiday for four couples.

The villa is situated in a lovely quiet estate between Lagos and Luz. Taxi price to Lagos was approximately 8-10 euros (12 - 14 for a 7 seater). Large pool and pool area with enough sun beds and seating for everyone. The villa is well equipped with a large kitchen and living room. The inaccuracy in the listing is due to it having 2 bathrooms, not 3. I wouldn’t class the pool shower as a bathroom. I would highly recommend the accommodation to any large family / group.

Great secluded villa for relaxing getaway

This is the perfect place for a family to have a relaxing, fun holiday. It’s close to both Lagos and Praia da Luz, so you have a pick of both towns. As it’s a bit out of town, it’s much quieter - so very relaxing. The house itself is well laid out and equipped. The pool is fantastic and warm (we didn’t opt to have the heating turned on). Great bbq and outdoor lounging space. Overall, very highly recommended!

O proprietário, Sam, é uma pessoa super acessível com uma grande rapidez de resposta a cada solicitação. A casa é excelente para umas férias em família, com um optimo espaço exterior no qual se inclui a piscina. No interior o espaço também é bastante agradável, com boas areas e bem equipada. Uma nota não tão positiva para o equipamento na cozinha (loiças), e para a limpeza da cozinha. O check-in / check-out e os pedidos de assistência também não foram a melhor das experiências.

My name is Sam and I bought Casa Baixa with my brother in 2018 having visited the area ever since our childhood.

As keen golfers and surfers, we'd always loved this part of Portugal which is that bit more rural and authentic than the big resorts.

With young families of our own now it's the perfect place to bring the kids for a break from the English weather!

Why they chose this property

This property had everything we were looking for in a holiday. The best feature, in my opinion, is the outside area where we spend nearly all of our time.

The pool is great and couple that with the big built-in outdoor BBQ and outdoor dining area, we just go inside to sleep!

Its a great location with easy access to all of the restaurants on offer in Luz and Lagos. The drive from Faro is so easy and takes less than an hour.
