Casa Jenard 4 bedroom family villa in Monte Lemos Praia Da Luz
Casa Jenard is a spacious villa set in beautiful landscaped gardens, 10 minutes walk to Praia Da Luz beach shops and restaurants.
Purchased in 2012 it has benefited from extensive interior re-modelling and has been finished to an high standard. The neighbouring land was purchased in 2014 and the garden has been doubled in size adding a beautiful rockery area and large grassed area which is perfect for children's games or for just relaxing. The villa has its own bore hole supplying water for the garden ensuring beautiful green grass and an abundance of plants and trees.
The garden has a variety of plants and trees, including oranges, lemons, lime and plum trees. If the season is right please enjoy the fresh fruit, theirs nothing quite like a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice or a slice of lemon in your drink fresh from the tree
The villa is set over 3 levels and has 4 double bedrooms, 2 bedrooms with king size beds (1 with en suite) and 2 bedrooms each with twin beds.
Downstairs is a large well equipped family kitchen with open plan dinning area and lounge with TV and DVD player. The kitchen has 2 sets of patio doors straight onto the patio outside eating area with gas BBQ and then onto the pool area and gardens.
The first Bedroom has a large king size bed with attached large en-suite with bath and shower, plus air conditioning and its own small veranda with double patio doors, this room is very private and not connected to any other rooms
The Second bedroom on the ground floor, is spacious with fitted wardrobes, twin beds, air conditioning and a family bathroom next door.
The Third Bedroom on the top floor has King Bed, air conditioning and patio doors opening onto the upstairs balcony with external wicker furniture, it is beautifully lit by the morning sun after you have awoken and opened the black out shutters which ensure you have a good nights sleep. Adjacent is a shower room and toilet
The Fourth Bedroom is also on the top floor it is spacious with twin bed and it shares the shower room, this room has a black out blind air conditioning and a ceiling fan, it doesn't get direct sunlight so stays nice and cool all day. This is an ideal bedroom for children as the fan gives a nice constant cool temperature.
The Pool has a removable safety screen, which give parents full peace of mind that their children cannot access the pool without an adult opening the gate. But the screen can be removed on request if a party of Adults wish so.
The pool can be heated at a charge of £160 per week.
All linen bath towels and beach towels will be provided, the beds will be made for your arrival and the villa will be cleaned after your leave. For a stay of over 8 nights your stay will included a mid stay clean, where bed linen and towels will be changed. Further cleaning and linen changes can be arrange at request and will be chargeable.
The villa also has a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer, iron, ironing board.
*PLEASE NOTE* There is currently construction happening to the vacant land which is at the right hand side of the villa. This work is due to be completed in early 2026 and the villa will have neighbouring townhouses which are not shown in the current photos as they are under construction. I am a mum of two boys living in the UK, Casa Jenard is our family Holiday home. It was bought by my father when my babies were young and holidays were tricky with two toddlers under two years old. As a family we have enjoyed all of our holidays there We love the villa for its big garden where the kids can run around and we all love the pool which has sun all day and a nice breeze.
With the large patio area we enjoy family BBQ’s and relaxing of an evening on the upstairs terrace.
When the children were young the villa was ideal as I could position myself poolside close to the kitchen and with the pool screen on so that I knew the children could access the garden without getting to the pool. Now they are older we remove the pool screen but we put it back on request for guests that have small children.
We found it difficult to find a villa or hotel that was family friendly for small children, so we made our own and we hope that if you have small or larger children you will love it just as much as we do.

Why they chose this property
We have been coming to Lagos since 1995, luz was an obvious choice to buy as it’s a small quiet village with fabulous restaurants and a beautiful beach. But it’s only a 10 min drive to Lagos where you can enjoy a more lively town and larger supermarkets and shops
What makes this property unique
The large grassed areas and large gardens. We fitted a bite hole a few years ago when we purchased the neighbouring plot which doubled the size of the garden. By fitting the bore hole we are able to have a large grassed area which is great for family games and sunbathing under the palm tree
