Great space, just smokey

The apartment was a great space & open communal area, loved the historic and modern features. The only "negative" was that it had a stale cigarette smoke smell.

Funky Apartment in a Great Location

Beautiful apartment if a little unconventional. The living space is huge and bedrooms are adequate. Three bedrooms - one with a single bed, one with a double and one with two singles. The latter two bedrooms don't have shutters or curtains on the window and face out onto a shaft. The single bedroom is at the front and has shutters. Strangely the bedroom with the two single bed has a toilet in it with a glass screen. The double bedroom has just a shower. The main bathroom is good with a great shower. The location is perfect - you can walk to all the sights and also to the beach. The bus for the return to the airport is just across the road. The apartment is on the 2nd floor so access not suitable for people with mobility issues. Alicante is a beautiful city - highly recommended!

I only give it a rating of 4-stars as they can improve on other aspects of the experience that will be comparable to properties as exquisite as this one. 1st - the 5* rating on cleanliness location the property itself - architecture and interior design. It felt homey, warm & inviting. With the Central Market within walking distance, I had a chance to enjoy the kitchen and prepared 2 dinners. It's well-equipped with modern amenities - dishwasher, stove/oven & microwave plus the kitchen things you need to enjoy a meal.Now, for some suggestions for improvements.1. To help guests keep the place clean, you should at least provide paper towels and/or maybe, extra kitchen hand towels and trash bags. We did use the dishwasher detergent so thank you for that.2. Comparing to other properties of the same caliber we stayed in, providing extra touches of a great host would be to provide basic kitchen essentials, like, salt & pepper; sugar; cooking oil; aluminum foils & plastic wrap sheets. Other properties we stayed in even provided basic dried herbs and vinegar. Others even had a welcome wine & snacks3. Though the check-in/out process and instructions were great; it felt like a business transaction. A little bit of warmth and charm will match the beauty and character of the place.4. Pls update the # & type of bathroom in the listing. It has truly 1 full bath (toilet, shower, double sink) and 2 half baths (1 with shower only and the other 1 with toilet & sink)

Tolle Wohnung, tolle Stadt!

Wir waren sechs Tage in Alicante und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Die Wohnung ist sehr sauber und gepflegt, modern, stylisch und hochwertig eingerichtet. Die Matratzen sind sehr gut und wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Da zwei der Schlafzimmer nicht zu verdunkeln sind, Schlafbrille nicht vergessen! In der Stadt ist alles fußläufig erreichbar. Einzigartig die Vielzahl der phantastischen Tapasbars/Restaurants. Die Kommunikation mit der Agentur klappt per WhatsApp am besten. Zahlung läuft über ein externes Konto-nicht über FeWo. Das ist ein bisschen aufregend, hat aber alles wunderbar geklappt. Wir kommen wieder!

Lovely apartment, bright and spacious, on a quiet road, but right in the city.

Beautiful apartment would recommend. It's kitted out with high-end appliances, great showers, all you would need in the kitchen to cook. It has a nice tv with Netflix, etc, Wifi ran well. I would recommend to anyone ; although is on the 2nd floor with no lifts. The only thing that was an aggravation was paying for the stay, which had to be done by International Bank Transfer. But, I am glad I did, it was well worth it.
