I was able to celebrate my 40th birthday over a long weekend with ease and comfort within this beautiful property. Indoors and outdoors, it is easy to relax and entertain. The ski trails are great for a summer hike, which followed by the pool and hot tub makes for a perfect day. Would recommend to anyone wanting to have a long, quiet weekend with friends and family.

This house was perfect for hosting our large summer family gathering. Plenty of beds, a well-equipped kitchen for cooking, and large gathering space in the living/dining area. We loved the pool and hot tub, as well as the tennis court on-site. Grocery store is nearby, as well as multiple nice golf courses, hiking, and mountain biking. Fanny was quick to respond and very helpful in planning our trip!

We had a wonderful stay at Mountain House in Vernon, NJ. The home was comfortable, and exactly as described in the listing. The location is fantastic—close to Mountain Creek and surrounded by beautiful scenery, making it perfect for a relaxing getaway. The space was well laid out, and the beds were comfortable, which made it easy to unwind after a full day out.Communication with the host was smooth and responsive, and check-in was convenient. There are a few small details that could be improved, but nothing that took away from an overall great experience.We’d definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy mountain retreat in Vernon.

We loved our stay! This house was perfect for our family (6 adults) 3 teenagers. Everyone had their own space, the backyard was our favorite place to hang. Close to waterpark. Tennis court was a big bonus! We can’t wait to come back during the winter for a snowboard trip!

Perfect holiday getaway

I visited this property with a group of family and a few friends. The place was exactly what we imagined and exactly what we'd hoped for! The location was amazing as it was located right near golf and other activities. The hosts were very accommodating and very responsive. I have only good things to say!! Highly recommend.
