At the top of a small hill that keeps the traces of the first human times. You are at Ferrassie, mythical place of the country of Cro-Magnon and one of the most secret of the deep Périgord.

In the center of the magical territory circumscribed by the Eyzies, the valley of the Vézère and Sarlat, between truffle farms of Ste Alvère and vineyard of Bergerac, the hamlet of Ferrassie, is a conservatory or survives this art of living which makes the celebrity of Périgord.
In the heart of this country where the sense of welcome is a cardinal virtue, we will tell you as we say here: 'Finish to enter'.
You will be amazed by the prowess of the restoration and amenities. The most refined comfort does not seem to have disturbed the original architecture. You will be in peace, in the warm, in the real thing. Then you will sit in front of the high fireplace or burn a fire like childhood.

A charming, relaxing and special place

My family and I spent 10 wonderful days at this house and it is a vacation we will not forgot. The hosts were warm, friendly and went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. Highly recommend!

Amazing Country Cottage and Grounds

A week with our adult children and their partners and an 18-month old baby was made magical by this exceptional property. The cottage has original stone walls with a modernized kitchen and infrastructure. The swimming pool has sweeping views of the countryside and of beautiful French cows. Hosts, Nicole and Patrick couldn't have been more helpful and charming. The location is beautiful though somewhat remote, making a car necessary. We would love to return someday!

Beautiful gite, excellent pool, wonderful location, perfect for families!

Just a glorious setting! Lovely gite with everything you need for a family holiday. Gracious and discrete host. Easy access to entire Périgord Noir. 45 mins to Bergerac, Montignac (for Lascaux), Sarlat, Périgueux. 10 mins to canoeing on Vezere or Dordogne. Chateaux everywhere. We will definitely come back.

excellent séjour

nous garderons un très bon souvenir de cette location , une très jolie maison avec tout le confort souhaité! sans oublier les délicates attentions laissées par les propriétaires tout au long de notre séjour. La description de la maison est tout a fait conforme à la réalité. merci à Madame et Monsieur Montfort pour leur accueil une adresse à retenir !!

Excellente adresse

La location de Monsieur et Madame Montfort est tout simplement idéale. Nous cherchions une maison confortable, bien située, pleine de charme et avec de l'espace. Et bien si vous cherchez la même chose, n'hésitez plus ! Je dirais même que les charmants propriétaires des lieux amènent quelque chose de plus, par leur accueil, leur disponibilité et par les petits gestes qui font toute la différence. Les propriétaires nous ont accueilli pour nous faire découvrir la charmante maison très fonctionnelle et où rien ne manquait. Des petites marques d'attention comme du bon pain, du beurre, et autres surprises montrent à quel point ils sont soucieux de notre accueil. La cuisine est très lumineuse et nous avions absolument tout ce qu'il nous fallait pour faire la cuisine, comme si nous étions chez nous. Sans compter les différents points de vue de cette maison , si agréables et notamment celui que l'on a de la piscine !! Il est clair que les locations de vacances dégagent un charme particulier quand ceux qui l'ont construite y mettent du coeur et de l'envie de faire plaisir Vraiment une belle découverte, je recommande !

Une sublime demeure pour un séjour paisible

Nous avons adoré notre séjour dans cette superbe et confortable demeure située dans un hameau très paisible. Nous avons été merveilleusement bien reçu par Nicole et Patrick qui nous touché avec leur délicates attentions. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Toujours envie de revenir....

Un Coin de Paradis en Périgord.Voilà trois fois que nous séjournons dans une des maisons de Nicole. Deux fois à la Sablonnière avec nos enfants et petits enfants, et une fois à Laferrenie avec un couple d'amis.Nous sommes charmés par les deux propriétés, et de toutes les locations que nous avons faites auparavant c'est chez Nicole que nous nous sentons le mieux.Nicole et Patrick sont attentionnés, tout en restant très discrets. Salade du jardin, oeufs frais des poules de Nicole....Notre dernier séjour date de février ou nous avons pu profiter du feu de bois dans la cheminée.En février nous n'avons pas utilisé la piscine, mais dans les deux maisons elles sont idéalement bien situées et bien entretenues comme l'ensemble des deux propriétés.Les deux propriétés sont situées dans un cadre de verdure qui invite à la détente, même au mois de février nous avons bénéficier de belles journées pour effectuer visites et balades, mais aussi découverte du marché aux truffes. Les deux maisons sont décorées avec gout et encore là rien ne manque, nous avons particulièrement aimé l'ambiance chaleureuse qu'elles dégagent.Bravo Nicole et Patrick et nous avons hâte de vous revoir en septembre prochain.

Maison de charme dans un écrin de verdure

Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de cette maison très bien décorée dans un écrin de verdure. L'impression d'une maison de famille ! Nicole se donne beaucoup de mal pour accueillir ses hôtes : apéritif, œufs, pain… Tout pour se sentir attendu. C'est un endroit où il fait bon se reposer, farnienter au bord de la piscine en contemplant les forêts à perte de vue, profiter de cette belle région pour visiter caves, châteaux, sites archéologiques… Bref, idéale pour les vacances !
