Puigpelat
The municipality of Puigpelat is located in the central plain of Alt Camp, between the Gaià and Francolí rivers, at the top of a hill which offers an excellent view of the Camp de Tarragona. Access to the city is via the TV-2034 road, which connects the county that connects Valls to El Vendrell and the road that connects Pont d'Armentera to Tarragona. The population of Puigpelat has increased considerably over the past 10 years, from 469 inhabitants to 786 people currently registered. The main activity of the town is agriculture, the vineyard is the main crop, followed by almond trees, olives and hazelnuts, but recently, important industries have also been established.
Since the privileged location of the town of VALLS 5kms from Puigpelat, there is a very wide range of activities:
-Visit to the Roman Tarragona at 15 minutes
-Beaches of the Costa Dorada and Theme Park PORT AVENTURA + FERRARI LAND at 20 minutes
-Salou, Cambrils: its beaches, its fish restaurants
-Sitges
- Cistercian monastery of Santes Creus 10 minutes away
-The road to Reus: city of Gaudi
Archaeological complex of Tárraco (present-day Tarragona) was an administrative and commercial city of considerable importance for Roman Spain and the center of imperial worship for all the Iberian provinces.
