About this property

Eco Lodge Le Barradis is a beautiful Manor house in a huge garden of which 400 m2 is completely dog proof fenced. The house is situated near the village of Hautefort, in the Dordogne. The Eco Lodge consists of a large house with 4 bedrooms and a trendy, loft style separate bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The shower is built in an old wine barrel! In total, 11 people can have a wonderfully peaceful holiday here!

The large heated pool offers all possibilities to relax. Do you want to take a rest then you can do so in one of the hammocks on the covered veranda. In the immediate vicinity you can make fantastic walks, the village of Hautefort (you can see the castle from your bedroom) is only 3.5 km away! Here are several restaurants, a supermarket, a bakery and a pharmacy. Especially for you the owner supplies you with a bycicle, so that you can pick up your bread in the morning!

Interior
The house is suitable for 11 people plus baby. 4 Spacious bedrooms and two bathrooms in the house, a very cozy living room with large fireplace and plenty of relaxation chairs, a nice kitchen and a separate dining room! You have a large covered area where you can eat together, play a game or relax. At the end of this covered area is the 5th bedroom with en-suite bathroom (super nice!)
Attention: one bedroom has air conditioning and the other bedrooms all have a fan.

Outside
From the covered area you reach the heated swimming pool with a very large terrace. There are enough sun loungers, seats and enough parasols. You can close the pool in the evening so that the water stays nice and warm!

Culture lovers, sports enthusiasts and peace seekers will find plenty to enjoy here.
Walking and cycling, strolling on local markets, visiting exhibitions or music festivals, enjoying street theater, village festivals. Opera, canoeing, running or mountain biking, anything is possible. Or would you prefer to pay a visit to a museum, a center for modern art or attend a concert? séjour correct mais quelques détails à améliorer

quelques déceptions: 1 grosse surprise à notre arrivée, on vous indique que l'on va vous facturer l'électricité si vous dépassez 150kwatt sur la semaine, au bout de 3 jours avec la piscine chauffée et une fin d'été fraiche on était déjà à plus de 100 kw !!!!!! (et en plus en étant absent dans la journée). Donc allez il faut encore sortir le portefeuille pour payer l électricité alors que non précisé dans l annonce. Beaucoup de frelons, on nous qu'un nid a été détruit, mais tous les jours des dizaines de frelons impossible de rester dehors en soirée. on nous plaint les serviettes, 1 seule serviette de bain par personne pour la semaine , et en plus serviette pas très grande. On aimerait au moins deux serviettes par personne pour 1 semaine. deux salons, un salon avec une petite télé, mais avec netflix, mais alors canapé d'une autre époque rafistolé et inconfortable et une deuxième espace télé, avec une télé immense , des canapés au top et une télé qui fait pas télé mais qui permet de regarder des DVD donc espace pour nous inutile car on n'est pas venu avec nos DVD. quelle déception pour nos ado. pour le reste rien à dire, maison bien équipée (de la vaisselle en grande quantité, lave vaisselle, plaque, four...) sauf le micro onde non présent donc on doit utiliser la plaque de cuisson. l'espace terrasse couverte et piscine est bien, hamac sympa , super grande table, bcp d'espace, transat, parasol...

une maison agréable mais qq précisions nécessaires !

La maison est très belle et très agréable à vitre, un salon bien frais quand il fait très chaud dehors, une terrasse couverte parfaite avec une grande table très conviviale, des hamacs et une belle piscine ! Cependant, il faut quand même savoir que cette maison est mitoyenne avec un élevage de vaches limousine, ce qui engendre qq nuisances, sonores comme olfactives. Cela ne nous a pas dérangé mais il faudrait le préciser dans l'annonce. De même, l'annonce parle d'un grand jardin de 4000m², avec de "nombreux coins romantiques"... il s'agit en fait d'une parcelle, fermée et indépendante, accessible par un portail et qui sert visiblement assez régulièrement pour faire paitre les vaches voisines... donc des bouses plus ou moins sèches un peu partout, mais pas vraiment de "coins romantiques"... A savoir aussi, et non mentionné dans l'annonce, que l'on vous fera payer l'électricité au delà de qq KW qui vous sont offerts. C'est le cas dans quelques locations, mais cela n'est pas du tout précisé dans l'annonce. Le lave vaisselle est cassé aussi, la pastille ne se diffusant pas dans l'appareil au bon moment du cycle - nous avons dû régulièrement relavé la vaisselle... et qd on est nombreux, c'est un peu galère ! Mais la personne qui vous accueille est très sympathique, et très réactive quand vous la contactez.
