A lovely cottage in an idyllic spot.
A lovely cottage in an idyllic spot. Fabulous views from the living room on to open countryside. Small patio area just nice for sitting outside. Very nicely decorated and comfortable. Nice welcome pack which was appreciated. We would stay again and added bonus dogs welcome. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This was a lovely little cottage with beautiful open views from the large picture window.
This was a lovely little cottage with beautiful open views from the large picture window. It was very clean, comfortable and cosy. The walk into Alston takes around 15 minutes along the relatively quiet main road. Lovely local walks around Alston. I would recommend this cottage for a relaxing and quiet break. A small and beautifully formed cottage, with a gorgeous view from the back sliding glass doors.
A small and beautifully formed cottage, with a gorgeous view from the back sliding glass doors. Dogs (two retrievers) loved the garden. Very clean, well decorated, comfortable and warm as toast!! We have found a gem, with great access to Eden Valley, Tyne Valley, Tees Valley, Penrith, Carlisle, Scottish Borders as well as the Lake District. Our week at the Milking Parlour was extremely pleasant and relaxing.
Our week at the Milking Parlour was extremely pleasant and relaxing. Set in lovely countryside with Alston in easy walking distance. It was slightly smaller than expected, but no problem for 2 and a dog. The owners were very pleasant and helpful, but didn't pester you at all. If we returned to the area then we would stay there again.
