Bilberry Nook Cottage is a stone-built, semi-detached cottage in the village of Westgate in Northumbria. The cottage sleeps four people in one king-size double room, one twin bedroom, and a family bathroom. Also in the cottage are a well-equipped kitchen and a sitting room with a dining area and a woodburning stove. Outside, you will find off road parking for two small cars, a side patio with furniture, and a front lawned garden. Bilberry Nook Cottage is situated in a lovely part of the country, perfect for a holiday at any time of the year.

Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Oil and power inc. in rent. Fuel for stove available to purchase locally. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Off road parking for 2 small cars. Roadside parking for larger cars 50 yards from property. Lockable bike storage. Front lawned garden. Side patio with furniture. Private hot tub.Two well-behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pub 5 mins walk. Note: The closest pub to the property in Westgate is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday. There is a dog-friendly pub approximately 2 miles away from the property open 7 days a week. Note: River outside cottage is unfenced, children to be supervised. Note: Open tread stairs to first floor. Note: Access to the river is by steep stone steps, may not be suitable for the less mobile.

Town: Westgate is a small village in Weardale, popular for walking and cycling. Westgate once marked the boundary of Stanhope Park, the scene of many grand, historical, hunting expeditions. Nearby is Slit Wood, a site of Special Scientific Interest, with interesting footpaths and delightful waterfalls. Westgate is set in rural countryside and is home to a pub, whilst further amenities can be found in the village of Stanhope, five miles away.
