A fantastic holiday home with a multi-fuel burner, enclosed garden and pub over the road. A great location for the south Lakes.. Ground Floor:

Kitchen: Electric Range, Fridge, Freezer, Dishwasher

First Floor:

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Bedroom 2: Single (3ft) Bed

Shower Room: Cubicle Shower, Toilet. Convector heaters (underfloor in kitchen), electricity, bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and fuel for multi-fuel burner included. Highchair available on request. Welcome pack. External utility room with washing machine. Small, enclosed lawned garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There are 5 steps in the garden.. A charming, semi-detached holiday cottage, in the pretty village of Baycliff, ideally located to explore the South Lakes. Enjoy superb walking, the Cumbrian Way, and several cycle paths, or visit the Manjushri Buddhist Temple and its wooded grounds and pretty gardens. Ulverston is nearby with a bi-weekly market, as are the beaches of the Furness coast and Coniston with biking, climbing and water sports. Shop 2 miles, pub and restaurant 20 yards.

Very impressed with the cottage. Really well appointed and the owners have thought of everything. Lovely secluded garden, modern kitchen with brilliant range, comfy large lounge with beams. modern bathroom/shower. Good WiFi, modern TV with surround sound, nice varied selection of DVDs, books etc etc. The beach is 5mins walk away, 2 villiage pubs , farm shop, mountains nearby. And nice n quiet. No hesitation recommending Jackdaw Cottage.

Had a four day break which was ok, comfortable apart from the bathroom which is very compact and tired. On arrival we informed the owners that the television wasn’t working, we felt that they thought it was something we were doing wrong, contacted owners again on the third night to say that it was still a problem, a neighbour/friend called in to check it and agreed there was a problem, an engineer arrived on day four and replaced the aerial.
