Bedroom: Galleried, Double (4ft 6in) Bed. Gas underfloor central heating (ground floor), electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Utility room with washing machine and freezer (shared with other properties on-site). Enclosed, small courtyard with garden furniture (shared with other properties on-site). 800-acre natural grounds (shared with other properties on-site). Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: This property have a natural water supply from a bore hole and there is a stream in the grounds.. These three terraced, converted barns have spectacular views of the Cumbrian Fells and Morecambe Bay. In a picturesque setting, on the owner’s working beef and sheep farm, these holiday properties are situated on the edge of the beautiful Trough of Bowland, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and in great walking territory. Each property has a patio area with picnic benches, where guests can enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding area. In the parish of Quernmore, the properties are just a short drive from the historic town of Lancaster where there are numerous pubs and restaurants. Leisure facilities nearby include golf courses and the historic Williamson’s Park, which has the beautiful Ashton Memorial and the Butterfly House. Lancaster also has a castle, where the Pendle witches were brought for trial. Other places to visit include the seaside resort of Morecambe, 8 miles, Ingleton and the Yorkshire Dales, 18 miles, Kendal, known as the Gateway to the Lakes is 27 miles, Blackpool, 35 miles, and the cities of Manchester and Liverpool are just over an hour’s drive.
