A fantastic location for a proper "get away".

A fantastic location for a proper "get away"... great for walks, and loved the drive across the common. If you like somewhere peaceful and remote, this is definitely for you! Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

This was one of the best cottage holidays we have had, and we have been on loads.

This was one of the best cottage holidays we have had, and we have been on loads. The only reason I have put a 9 in comfort is that because of Covid we did not have any scatter cushions and a dish drainer, but that was not the fault of the owner, local amenities are fine too but there is a travel time. So make sure you stock up when you shop. If you are looking for an away from it all place with walks from your door this is the place, we are only sorry we did not book 2 weeks! The owners are fantastic too, happy to help when needed but left us to it. We are looking forward to going back here soon. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The crucial question concern the local amenities.

The crucial question concern the local amenities. A great feature of the cottage is that there are no local amenities (excepting excellent WiFi and mobile connections). There is only open access to the dominating Brown Clee Hill towering above, the iron age fort fabove the house facing the western horizon of range after range of the beautiful Shropshire Hills. There are no Roaabove the houd traffic noises, because there is no public road. The peace is emphasised by the calls of lambs, the croak of Ravens, the songs of the skylarks and yellowhammer, and the cries of buzzards and red kites.
