The Courthouse was perfect for what we required - easy to walk to the centre of Hay on Wye and all its bookshops and other unique shops, cafe's, pubs and restaurants. Having a bedroom and bathroom on the level access ground floor was ideal for our party (one could not manage stairs) The house was lovely and warm and cosy to come back too after some hours of book searching! Everything was as described and access via key lock worked well. We enjoyed our welcome pack to include fresh milk and a bottle of wine. The TV Firestick took a little working out, but we did in the end find the channels we wanted - perhaps a basic note with instructions? We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definately be back.

Lovely comfortable house with easy access to the town and the river is just a short stroll away.
Lovely comfortable house with easy access to the town and the river is just a short stroll away. The house contains all the essentials plus a fair bit more. The garden is small but cute and enclosed. A great location to explore the Wye and Brecon Beacons plus Hay has lots of nice shops and food opportunities. Check out the Globe for live music and the market for local produce, and so friendly.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Court House cottage was well equipped with everything we needed
It is conveniently situated for walking into the picturesque town, with a good selection of pubs, restaurants and takeaways together many interesting book and antique shops.
Also close to riverside walks so our dog enjoyed his holiday too.

Location is perfect, the town only a couple of minutes walk. Its right opposite the church which has an alley down to the riverside with some great walks. Would definitely recommend.
