We were 4 middle aged ladies looking for somewhere rural to walk and relax.
We were 4 middle aged ladies looking for somewhere rural to walk and relax. Village is a 20 minute walk with an excellent shop and pub. There was a bus service to Hay on Wye. The cottage was clean, warm and had everything we needed including a welcome basket of local products and homemade jam.
A extremely tastefully converted water mill with just the sheep and ducks for company.
Not too far off the beaten track, this lovely cottage has all mod cons and just about everything you could need. Comfy beds, plenty of space (not necessarily headroom) and excellent facilities.
A very well thought out welcome basket with produce from the farm, and very welcoming hosts who popped by to check all was well.
Worth visiting just for the duck eggs, local for Hay on Wye and Hereford and all surrounding areas.
We will definitely be visiting again.
Cosy , warm and comfortable. Ahome away from home.
