Set in Romsey within easy reach of the New Forest, this cottage has original oak beams and an inglenook fireplace.. All on the Ground Floor:

Bedroom area: Double (4ft 6in) Bed
Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. Electric storage heaters and electricity (£25 per week October-April), bed linen and Wi-Fi included. Large lawned garden with sitting-out area (shared). Barbecue. On road parking; additional public car park nearby. No smoking. Please note: This property has a security deposit of £150.. Set in the centre of the delightful town of Romsey within easy reach of the New Forest, these attractive Tudor cottages, built in 1524, have original oak beams and inglenook fireplace. They share a large lawned garden, the largest within the town and offers comfortable accommodation, they make the ideal holiday base for exploring. Locally, the pretty town offers many amenities, shops, restaurants, inns, golf and a leisure centre with large swimming pool and water chute. The Test Valley, known for its fishing and walking, The Test Way, The Clarendon Way all nearby. For keen gardeners, visit the world famous collection of trees and shrubs at Hilliers Arboretum, or the aromatic collection of old roses at nearby Mottisfont. Broadlands (home to the late Lord Mountbatten) and Romsey Abbey are also close by. The area has plenty of attractions for all ages, within easy reach are Paultons Park, Marwell Zoo, the cathedral cities of Winchester and Salisbury, and maritime history at Southampton, where you can take a ferry to the Isle of Wight. The New Forest is a short drive away, which covers almost 145 square miles and supports hundreds of free roaming ponies, cattle and deer. There are 150 miles of gravel roads in the forest, appealing for cyclists and horse riders with acres of open heathland. New Forest attractions include Beaulieu Palace House, Abbey and Motor Museum, New Forest Museum and Visitors Centre, Bucklers Hard, Exbury Gardens and various popular towns and villages to discover, including Burley and Lymington. Bournemouth is renowned for its clean sandy beaches, year round entertainment and facilities, and is within half an hours drive, or alternative beaches worthy of a visit are Studland Bay, Sandbanks, Milford or Highcliffe.
