Some properties pet friendly. It has often been said that Rosecraddoc Manor must be the nearest thing to paradise. The manor properties stand in 38 acres of beautiful grounds and woodlands, set around a lovely lake, stocked with carp, roach and bream. Rosecraddoc Manor features a variety of properties surrounding the historic Manor House to cater for all tastes whether classic, modern, cosy or cottage style is what you are looking for. The manor was built in the 1820s on the site of a much older house mentioned in the Domesday Book. It is Grade II listed, along with two bridges in the grounds, and has now been converted into these attractive apartments and cottages, making a perfect base for your Cornish holiday.
On site you can fish on the lake (bring own fishing licence, barbless hooks and landing nets must be used, please) or play tennis on the all weather court (smooth soled tennis shoes to be worn, not squash shoes; please bring your own racquets and tennis balls). If you can bear to leave this beautiful spot, just 2½ miles away in Liskeard there is a superb leisure complex, where you can enjoy squash, badminton, gym, indoor bowls and indoor leisure pools, which include a children’s pool and flume, as well as the main pool.
Within 4 miles you can explore Bodmin Moor, where you can go riding, walking or even try water sports on Siblyback Lake - wind surfing, dinghy sailing and canoeing are available. To the south, lovely sandy beaches and pretty fishing harbours lie along the coast. Several excellent golf courses can also be found in the area; and the Eden Project is only 20 miles away.
The Manor and the Coach House have been tastefully and sympathetically restored to please the most discerning guest. The cottages are refs B6859, CV7102, CV7103, CV17, CV13 and CV44. Some of the cottages are suitable for guests with disabilities (CV44 is designed for the convenience of visitors with disabilities, as well as able-bodied visitors), and ref B6859 boasts an American fridge/freezer. Access to the front door of the manor is by 3 stone steps. The apartments are refs CV14, CV20, CV11 and B4866 which are all on the first floor and ref CV12 is a ground floor apartment. Whichever you choose you will find it immaculately clean, with freshly laundered linen and tea towels. Please bring your own towels. Cot linen is not supplied. Cornwall is well known for its mild climate, but at Rosecraddoc Manor, even if it is cold outside, your accommodation will be warm and welcoming. There are several pubs locally. An ideal venue for all the family. Pub 1½ miles.

We love this idyllic place, staying in this house twice now with family ranging from 94 to 6. We have loads of living space to have busy rooms with kids to quiet conservatories for adults. The grounds are lovely with lots of open ground to explore, tennis courts, lake, waterfall and river to see.

Lovely big cottage.
Lovely big cottage. Plenty space for 9 of us. Nice and clean. Has a lovely bbq patio area but could do with a bbq. Nice to do a bit of fishing on site but there were too many lily pads. Think maybe a little over priced but we did had a lovely week.

Had a great week here, although other people were staying on the grounds it was not busy and loads of space for kids to explore, the cottage was perfect for big families or two families, easy to distance yourself with 2 tables to eat at, one large enough to seat everyone. Two conservatories (1 we couldn’t use as there was a wasp nest, which was dealt with when reported). Big bedrooms all but one en suite. Lovely big kitchen with huge fridge freezer. We loved it, the kids had a front lawn to play out on when we didn’t venture out and about.

Cottage was lovely.
Cottage was lovely. We arrived early after a 9 hour drive and they kindly let us go into the cottage. Was very clean and modern. A couple of maintenance issues but nothing major. signal was very poor but as soon as you got out of the dip and up the hill worked great. There was 8 of us and still plenty of room. Did find it odd that the only room that had more than 7 seats was the dinning room. Would definitely go again! Perfect location to be out of way and in a very pictures' place but close enough to all tourist attractions normally only a half hour to a hour drive.

I would of given 10 out of 10 but decided not to for the following reason:
There is no phone signal at all hence the owner probably taking advantage of it. You have to pay for wifi which is extremely slow and expensive.
Having said that,The owner is very friendly and helpful, our place was stunning apart from downstairs toilet flush issue.
Due to poor phone signal in the cottage, least the owner could do is provide decent free internet. I mean all the coffee shop has free internet now days. Worse bit was, i had to walk around outside in rain to get signal so i could tell my mother i have arrived safely.
I hope the owner takes this suggestion on board.

Beautiful grounds and comfortable property.
Beautiful grounds and comfortable property. No WiFi available even though we had filtered this in our search as essential, you had to purchase on arrival and it didn’t work which is the main reason for our scoring otherwise it would have been 9/10.
