Granary Barn, North Cornwall

Granary Barn has recently been renovated as a stunning holiday cottage. It is equipped and furnished to a high standard. Set in a small hamlet just 5 minutes from Bodmin Moor, an area of outstanding natural beauty, the barn enjoys magnificent views of the surrounding countryside.

The beaches, coastpath and fishing villages (e.g. Port Isaac) of North Cornwall are just a short car journey away. Nearby, Wadebridge, one of north Cornwall's main market towns and gateway to the Camel Trail, is where you can find many boutique shops, restaurants and pubs.

Accommodation

Ground floor:
◾Hallway with coat/shoe stand and utility area containing washer/dryer, sink and ironing facilities. Front and back doors lead into the hallway.
◾Main bathroom with shower, large hand basin and WC.
◾Master bedroom with king size double bed and ensuite bathroom containing bath with shower over, hand basin and WC.
◾Large twin bedroom where the two single beds can be combined to form a super king size bed (please let us know in advance).
◾Snug room.

First Floor
◾Large lounge and well equipped kitchen/diner area with fantastic views.
- Lounge contains 3 piece suite, Freeview TV, DVD player and wireless WIFI router
- Kitchen contains dining table and chairs, electric oven/hob, american fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle etc.
◾Top bedroom with king size double bed and ensuite bathroom with shower, basin and WC

Exterior
◾Front of barn has parking area close to the front door
◾Back of barn contains large lawn with trees and a private patio area with furniture. There is also a secure shed at the back which could be used to store bicycles.
◾Approximately 50 yards from Granary Barn is 5 acres of land which is for the exclusive use of the barn's guests. The land comprises of a field and a wood which has a stream running through it.

Miscellaneous

Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included but you will need to bring your own beach towels. Regrettably no smoking or pets are allowed.

A beautiful new spacious cottage with outside space and seating. Great decor and luxurious bathrooms . A twenty minute walk into Camelford for basics.

Very well appointed accommodations. All that you needed for a very pleasant stay. Only issue was the stove, which was high tech and not easy to operate. Would stay there again.

Amazing property, great location

An amazingly-well presented property, had everything we needed. Great layout and plenty of space inside and out, and such a peaceful area. Children really appreciated the "den" and the spacious garden, their parents appreciated the excellent laundry facilities. Good location for visiting Bodmin Moor, Port Isaac, Tintagel, Padstow and many more places, we wouldn't hesitate to come here again, one of the very best holiday lets ever.

Great location for Cornish exploration

Wonderful property in a really peaceful area of the Cornish countryside. Tucked away but still close to the main roads means it was perfect for trips to the local beaches and villages. Padstow is 35mins by car and Trebarwith beach (brilliant both during the day and up on the rocks for sunset!) is just 15mins away. Highly recommend. The house had everything you could need and we'll certainly be looking to stay here again in the future. Lisi is a great host with great communication.

This house/ barn conversion is beautiful, full of detail and spotlessly clean. The rooms are spacious as are the en-suites. modern, open plan kitchen/living space and cosy beds. Would stay here again over and over. Lisi and Nick were fantastic hosts with great communication. Location is great for visiting northern coast of Cornwall. Perfect stay all in all x

Exceedingly well appointed property. Spotlessly clean, all appliances appeared new and worked well, instructions were provided in a useful handbook, garden ideal for young children. Can fault nothing (except perhaps Cornish mizzle!)

Second visit to Granary Barn

Our family of six plus a one year old stayed for the second time at the lovely Granary Barn . Beautiful property with a large secure back garden , contemporary bathrooms and spacious living area . The owners Lisi and Nick provide valuable information about the barn and area; key code this year worked well. Enjoyed days out at Boscastle , Lanhydrock National trust , Tintagel and Padstow . Would highly recommend.

Superb location and accommodation

Beautiful spacious quiet house, kitchen/ dining room 40+' huge safe private garden, private woods with stream. Fittings and lighting system top quality. Whole family loved every minute.
