We had a lovely stay in this cottage.

We had a lovely stay in this cottage. From the moment we stepped through the door we felt at home.We were comfortable, warm and contented. Very quiet, just birdsong. The location on the canal was perfect for fishing and walking. The pub at the end of the row of cottages was very friendly. 7 minutes drive from Leek. We didn't want to leave. We would be very happy to return. Be sure to take all the basics with you. (Milk, Coffee, tea, toilet rolls etc)

Lovely cottage ,well equipped and spotlessly clean,a lot more spacious than pictures suggest, would have taken the shower room home if possible! local people there and surrounding area friendly, No noise from the pub at all, enjoyed a very relaxing week walking the dog and fishing on the canals, very approachable owner, nice fella, not obtrusive in any way.never knew i would spend so much time watching the antics of the chickens in the neighbouring field!! Had a great week.

The location was perfect for our needs but also for the tranquility and peace beside the canal.

The location was perfect for our needs but also for the tranquility and peace beside the canal. Provides easy access to the Moorlands and Potteries. Local pub is handy for good basic food. Accommodation was OK, a little basic but warm and comfortable. Kitchen equipment was limited and who drinks from a teacup??? Good sized mugs desperately needed. All in all the cottage provided a fantastic base fro our weeks holiday. Would recommend.

Lovely property in a super location.

Lovely property in a super location. Cleanliness of cutlery and crockery was poor the the rest of the property was very good. Lacking a few essential things like a dish cloth spare bin bag . Overall a super cottage in a fantastic location. Would we rent it again ? Not until it has WiFi. I must admit I didn’t check thinking every property nowadays has WiFi but was surprised when we arrived to find it had none. Luckily I could get 4G and was able to buy extra data. We run our own business and WiFi is essential.
