About this property

In the heart of The Peak District

A self catering holiday cottage in the small peak district village of Flagg which is situated halfway between the market town of Bakewell and the Spa town of Buxton. There is the main bus route outside the cottage taking you directly to Buxton or Bakewell.

The cottage is an excellent base for Walkers, cyclists, visiting historic villages and towns around the area or just a relaxing get away.

The cottage sleeps 4 plus a cot bed.

The main bedroom has a king size bed. The second bedroom has twin beds. All beds with hypnos mattress and crisp bed linen. Relax in bed and enjoy the panoramic views of the peak district

The lounge features a log burner and flat screen TV

There is a well equipped kitchen for dining

The property features both a family bathroom to the ground floor with a large corner bath and shower and to the first floor there is a shower /dressing room with power shower and hairdryer.

Outdoors there is a patio with pretty flowers and trees with table and chairs and BBQ. This area hosts the sun until sunset hours. There is large lawned areas with swings and play area for the young ones

If you are doing a cycling holiday there is a large bike shed and a gate to the rear of the garden to take you onto your cycling expedition

After a day of walking, cycling or site seeing why not relax at the local country pub ‘ The Duke of York’ which is directly over the road. They serve home cooked meals and a great selection of beers, wines,spirits, teas and coffees in a cosy log burner lounge or book for the restaurant serving beautiful meals.
