Hot tub. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking. Please note: There are steps down from the parking area to the entrance.. This smart and beautifully furnished, contemporary, detached barn conversion enjoys an ideal position on the northen edge of Skegness, just 500 yards from the lovely sandy beach and a mile from the bustling central area. It is set on a quiet cul-de-sac, adjacent to a golf course whose clubhouse/bar/restaurant welcomes visitors. Skegness has a popular outdoor bowls area on the seafront and traditional holiday seaside activities including donkey rides on the beach. Fantasy Island Theme Park is 2 miles. A leisure park with swimming pool and fun activities available to day visitors is 1.5 miles. Natureland, incorporating a seal sanctuary and aquarium, is 0.75 miles. Fishing, 3 miles. Gunby Hall (National Trust), 7 miles. Shops and pubs 0.25 miles.

Perfect location, very private property, 10/10

The garden is fully enclosed with tall fences all around making it perfect for a stay with children and dogs and privacy in the hot tub. The cottage was spotless and felt like a home from home. The location was quiet and peaceful, a really short walk to the beach and a bus stop just outside tbe property going to ingoldmells and skegness

Excellent cottage! We had a long weekend at the cottage, everything was spotlessly clean, well equipped and well thought out.We were met by Ian who showed us how everything worked. We had a lovely welcome pack including wine, fruit and flowers. All tea, coffee & sugar provided and salt/vinegar etc in cupboards. You could arrive at the cottage with just your clothes and not need anything else. Chip shop and restaurant within walking distance. Unfortunately local golf club does admit the public but no dogs allowed. Beach 5-10 mins walk. Town 39 mins. We will definitely return🙂

Nice, well equipped converted barn. It's a bit on the small size but adequate for two. Location is excellent for the beach and promenade. The chairs and sofa are getting a bit used and could do with updating. Traffic noise from the A52 might be a concern to light sleepers as it gets fairly heavy at times and continues through the night. Dogs are allowed but I could not smell dog which shows how well the owners clean before new guests arrive. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

From the moment we arrived we knew we had chosen well. The warmest, friendliest welcome from the owners along with everything we needed to get us started, bread, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, chocolate biscuits, kitchen towel, toilet roll and even a bottle of wine! The cottage was impeccable with a very high standard of cleanliness - very reassuring especially at the moment. The owner saw to the hot tub daily and we never heard him once. Not even our super sensitive rescue dog and that’s saying something, trust me! Superb location close to town with easy access to the Lincolnshire Wolds, South Yorkshire and Norfolk. Myself, husband and 2 children had a really nice week staying in the cottage. We had a warm welcome from the owners and the welcome pack was much appreciated, the hot tub was amazing the kids loved it. The cottage had everything we needed, the only thing was the oven especially the hob it took ages to heat anything up and seemed to only have 1 heat setting (high). I do feel the cottage could have been a little cleaner, seemed some areas were "missed" when cleaning - cobwebs on skirting boards. Location was good shops and beach nearby. 2nd time we have stayed at Barn Cottage and it is fantastic.

2nd time we have stayed at Barn Cottage and it is fantastic. The owners are very friendly and helpful, the Barn has a starter pack and all towels are included and well everything you need. It is situated about a 10 minute walk to Skegness pier and has a shop just over the road, and the chip shop down the road is brilliant. It has a well maintained garden so dogs cannot escape. And last but not least the hot tub is amazing. This is a must try!! Hope to be there again next year❤️

Lovely little cottage.

Lovely little cottage. Great size enclosed garden which was perfect for the dog, and enjoyed use of the hot tub. Owners were great, welcomed us and showed us round. Really nice little extras like bread/milk and more than some self catering (condiments, soap etc). Good location, short walk to the beach and easy to walk into skegness. If I'm really blunt/honest I felt it could have been a little bit cleaner. I did buy some cleaning products myself and had a quick wipe round some parts of the property. I would consider staying again, but would hope that for the cost, the attention to cleanliness would be looked at.
