This holiday apartment is set close to local amenities and has a friendly atmosphere with everything visitors would need.. All on the Second Floor:

Open plan living space.

Living area: TV, DVD Player, Electric Fire

Kitchen area: Electric Cooker, Microwave, Fridge

Bedroom 1: Double (4ft 6in) Bed

Bedroom 2: 2 x Single (3ft) Beds

Bathroom: Bath With Shower Over, Toilet. NSH and convector heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Cot and highchair available on request. Welcome tray. Patio (shared with other properties on-site). On road parking; additional parking in public car park, 50 yards (parking permit available) No smoking. Please note: Families, couples and holidaymakers only. There are steep, unfenced slopes and steps in the garden.. The Admiral’s House - five well-furnished and equipped apartments (three of which are featured here) - is stunningly located on the edge of Ilfracombe’s Heritage harbour with great harbour and beach views from all living rooms and bedrooms .The Admiral’s House is centrally located for Ilfracombe’s main attractions. There are friendly pubs and restaurants, including Damien Hirst’s The Quay (opposite side of harbour), and shops and cafes within a few minutes’ stroll. There are local boats for trips and fishing. For special experiences, the summer Lundy Island ferry runs from the harbour. Sometimes the famous Waverly Paddle Steamer offers coastal cruises. The Admiral’s House is a 5-minute walk to the Landmark Theatre. The path at the front of the house is the start of the coastal path leading to Hillsborough Nature Reserve and the coves of Reparee and Larksdown. Hele beach is a short walk, or there is paddling on the sandy beach just below the window. A great base for touring, surfing at Croyd and Woolacombe, cream teas at many gardens, National Trust properties, unspoilt Exmoor, the Victorian cliff railway at Lynton and Lynmouth and many mini theme parks within a short drive. Returning to the harbourside holiday apartment, fishing boats can be seen landing their catch, and crab and lobster can be bought for supper! Shops 100 yards.

Fab location, close to harbour with amazing views. Well equipped if you wanted to cook. Debs the owner was really helpful giving useful recommendations for restaurants and days out. When we head back to Devon this will be where we want to stay.

The Admirals House is perfectly set in the heart of bustling Ilfracombe Harbour - a very picturesque

The Admirals House is perfectly set in the heart of bustling Ilfracombe Harbour - a very picturesque location in North Devon. Our apartment (Hornblower) gave us a birds-eye view across the harbour and the Bristol channel beyond. Everything was within easy reach - within walking distance or a short car journey away - and there was lots to do. A very spacious and well appointed apartment which had everything you could possibly need (perfect for a family) including access to laundry facilities (greatly appreciated as a mum!) and Debs is a warm, friendly and very welcoming host. Highly recommended.
