Friendly but discrete hosts. A gorgeous cottage in a tranquil and peaceful location. Very clean and welcoming. Beautifully decorated. A very comfortable and relaxing stay and the hot tub was fabulous too. Will definitely return and for a longer stay next time xx

First class stay very helpful owners nice touch with the wine and biscuits on arrival, lovely hot tub
We were warmly welcomed and appreciated the Welsh cakes and rose wine left for us in the kitchen.
Even though the owners are next door, we felt as though we were completely secluded. We ate dinner outside in the garden or on the balcony every day. We slept so soundly as it was so peaceful. The hot tub was in its own little house, again private, perfect when it was raining.
The staircase is a little awkward as it is steep but we are really quibbling. Just be careful if you have a mobility issue.
We loved our stay, and left with our batteries fully recharged. Thank you

This weekend away was everything myself and my partner imagined and wanted. We were greeted by Anna and Matthew who were very welcoming and answered any questions we had and were very clear we could contact them whenever needed if we had any issues etc - which we didn’t. They live next door which is extremely helpful but still felt very private. The cottage is stunning, perfectly decorated to make it the most cosy place to be and the views from all rooms were beautiful. All equipment worked as it should and we had everything we needed. We shopped in Holyhead for all of our essentials and food for the weekend which is easy to get to. The hot tub (which you are showed how to use) is amazing. We used it in the evening and is always maintained and cleaned. It is private to you so don’t worry your experience will be interrupted. We struggled to leave and were a bit upset that this wasn’t our place to stay in, so we are certainly going to return. Thank you to the owners who made our stay the most stress free weekend away we have had.
We stayed in Salem Fach for a whole week and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. First we were inspired by Anglesey’s scenery and then by this lovely little cottage. In every room you could enjoy either the most beautiful sunrises or the perfect sunsets. You can go out for wonderful hikes or you drive a bit to see awesome coastlines with beautiful beaches. And even Snowdonia is just an hour away. The cottage is small, but it offers everything you need. And the hot tub is an incredible bonus. The only thing we didn’t enjoy much were the showers. So if you don’t mind driving 20 to 30 Minutes to the nearest amenities (we didn’t mind at all) this is the perfect place.

Salem Fach is perfect.
Salem Fach is perfect. We will be returning and thoroughly recommend it. Comfortably furnished with great attention to details. Hot tub a blissful luxury for being indulgent and lazy or simply to unwind after walking miles of beautiful scenery. 180 degree views including a view of the sea. The owners are amazing hosts readily available for any help but maintaining a valuable sense of privacy. Please note we only scored 7 out of 10 for amenities cos it is not the sort of place where there can be any e.g leisure centres, golf, and amenities can be
pretty subjective. If amenities include great views and access to a coastal path then it would be a 10. Diolch Anna and Matthew. See you again!

Great cottage - like a home from home.
Great cottage - like a home from home. Looks exactly as it does on the photos.
If you want peace and quiet this place is ideal. Lots of places to go for walks, including to the sea, which was about a 30-40 min walk for us (two adults and 10 yr old).
The kitchen has everything you could possibly need; pots, pans, cutlery, dishware, utensils, white goods, tea towels, cleaning products etc.
The double bedroom was bigger than expected, with added storage in the form of a small walk in closet. The second bedroom was great - loads of storage, CD player, couch, balcony, great views.
The living room is open plan but cosy, especially with the small fireplace glowing during the dark nights :)
The Sky Movies package was great and there is a great stock of games available for use.
We took our own blankets, games and DVDs, but we really didn't need to - everything was provided for us.
The owners were great - we had a couple of mishaps while we were there (nothing to do with the owners!) but they were on hand to help any way they could. They couldn't have been more helpful and we were really grateful for everything they did for us.

Excellent little cottage, perfect size for two.
Excellent little cottage, perfect size for two. Owners live adjoining but both work so plenty of privacy. We didnt see them at all during our stay but they were only a text away if we needed anything. Hot tub is perfect with stunning views and plenty of privacy. Owners are conscious to close their curtains and I did not feel uncomfortable walking back to the cottage. Well equipped with plenty of towels, cooking equipment... Sky movies is a bonus. The cottage really is secluded with the nearest equipped village being 10 minute drive. We didnt mind this though. Plenty of nature and farming culture to observe. So peaceful and just what we needed to recharge our batteries. Would love to return in the future.
