A perfectly located detached home within 180 metres of Fishermans beach in Hythe and a short 4 minute walk to the high street. Sleeping up to 10 guests but equally personable for 2 we welcome both families and couples alike! Enjoy a modern scandi-coastal mix of design and decor with 3 large bedrooms, 2 high spec bathrooms, a large open plan lounge and dining room, separate "snug" with luxury sofa bed, downstairs toilet and well-equipped kitchen. Family friendly garden and off-road parking.

Recently renovated to a very high standard this wonderful detached house sits in a prominent corner position from Fishermans Beach and stands in a most convenient location for exploring Hythe and the surrounding areas. Formerly a 1920s general store all original features have been restored to conserve charm and character whilst the fresh scandi-inspired decoration offers a stylish yet very homely stay.

- Family friendly garden split into three zones, patio, decking and pebbles, which wraps around entire house
- Corner plot location gains sun throughout the year (when its out!)

On the ground floor

- Open area within the hallway under the stairs for additional storage (prams, brollies and wellies!)
- Large open plan living area features a comfortable sofa area for watching the 50" Smart TV and backs on to the dining space which can seat 8 comfortably
- "Snug" room (which is quite large anyhow!) houses a luxury sofa-bed for an additional fourth bedroom along with a 40" smart TV
- A convenient downstairs toilet and wash basin
- High spec and well-equipped Kitchen including Smeg range cooker and blackboard wall for fun messages or things to do!

On the first floor

There are 3 large upstairs bedrooms each with a console table, mirror lamp and chair, bedside tables with reading lamps and a very spacious built-in wardrobe with ample storage. All bedrooms are lockable by key.

- The Master King has a double aspect to create a light airy space.
- The Super King can be easily be converted into two single beds for flexible sleeping arrangements
- The family room is home to a double bed and bunk to sleep four in total

There is a family bathroom, with freestanding bath, toilet, basin and large shower.
The second wash room, has luxurious walk-in shower, toilet and basin.
Shampoo and washes are available.

We had a great stay in this beautiful house over the Christmas period. Hayley was a fantastic host both before and during our stay. The house is in a location which is so convenient for the beach and the town.Highly recommend!

Starting from a very warm welcome to an very easy and uncomplicated checkout, we spent 10 days in this very well equipped house. The kitchen is perfectly equipped and even the soap in the shower is provided. Neighbourhood is calm and relaxing. Nothing to complain, no doubt that this can be booked at any moment and any occasion. Location is perfect for day trips around kent.

Birthday weekend

Perfect weekend break with friends to celebrate my wife's birthday. The accommodation was beautifully presented, well equipped and in a great location for the town or the beach. Beautiful, well-kept house by the sea

We stayed for a weekend with a group of friends for a wedding in the area and 74 By The Sea was a really lovely base for our few days in Hythe. The house is spacious (we were 8 adults!), with 2.5 bathrooms and plenty of common areas for sitting together. The house is decorate to a very high standard and kept spotless. It’s just a few minutes to the sea front from the house, the high street was charming and the area quiet. Would recommend to anyone!

A fantastic holiday at the seaside!

We had a wonderful week at 74 By The Sea, and they even provided glorious sunshine! Immaculate home with beautiful decor and everything we could need including towels, hairdryers, all the essentials and some luxuries such as lovely shampoo and conditioners in the amazing showers! Hayley and Tim were fantastic hosts and met us for check-in, very friendly and explaining what was what with the house. Lots to do around Hythe and we were not short of activities, managing to keep 5 children occupied all week! We would definitely come back here for another week “by the sea!”

I have just returned from several days at 74 Park Road and I was extremely impressed on all levels. I booked the break so I could spend some time with my son & his wife but most significantly for me , with my 4 month old grandson and I could not have picked a more suitable & adorable accommodation & location . We were five minute from the sea/ channel & only 15 minutes walk into the quaint Hythe shops . The accommodation provided stunning decor & luxury. Tim & Hayley were both lovely people, leaving 2 x freshly baked loaves for arrival. I would recommend for single people, couples & families. Thank you
