Situated in a truly magnificent location with spectacular views over the glistening Carmarthen Bay and beautiful Gower Peninsula (AONB), this unique, detached holiday home provides the most outstanding getaway retreat for families or groups looking to explore west Wales. Located down a quiet country lane and accessed by electric gates, it lies just a 15-minute drive from the charming coastal village of Burry Port. This holiday home was inspired by an architectural ‘split-level’ design which features two separate living areas, comprising a large living room with a beautiful marble fireplace, farmhouse-style kitchen with a range cooker, dining room, conservatory and a large games room with a full-size snooker table, darts and football table. Each room has been thoughtfully put together with a matching theme throughout to provide guests with a memorable holiday experience. Outside, guests can enjoy the well-kept gardens which feature private patio areas - perfect for al fresco dining on a sunny day!
Conveniently located in an excellent touring location, guests can enjoy fantastic walks along the scenic Pembrey Country Park with 8 miles of golden sands at Cefn Sidan. Pembrey must be the only place in Europe where visitors can sunbathe, swim and hunt for shipwrecks on the beaches, then experience the thrill of a toboggan run or race down the park’s dry ski slope. Enjoy a round of golf at the famous Jack Nicklaus course, Llanelli or the Ashburnam links course, or watch live sport at the Llanelli Scarlet’s Rugby Stadium and nearby Ffos Las Racecourse. A short drive inland brings guests to the county’s rolling countryside which is scattered with charming market towns including Llandeilo and Carmarthen, as well as numerous medieval sites dotted around. A trip to Carmarthenshire is not complete without a visit to Laugharne, which was formerly home to famous Welsh poet Dylan Thomas, who described the charming village as ‘the strangest town in Wales’. Take a 40-minute drive into Pembrokeshire and discover the award-winning leisure attractions of Oakwood, Folly Farm and Anna’s Welsh Zoo. Beach 3 miles. Shop, pub and restaurant 1 mile.

This is a lovely house in a beautiful location.
This is a lovely house in a beautiful location. It is very spacious, with high ceilings and an incredibly large games room. It was more expensive than we have previously paid, but we do not regret it. Shopping in Llanelli was very straightforward - plenty of choice. Some minor problems: poor wifi reception (suggestion: switch to Sky Q). It would have been better if the fridges had been integrated into the kitchen. The downstairs bedroom needed to be aired when we arrived.
