At the end of a winding country lane and close to the rocky shoreline, it is set in a cluster of properties and is surrounded by six acres of fascinating gardens and trees. Within walking distance is the Menai Strait and just a few minutes’ drive away is Llanddona with its 5-mile sandy beach. Take a stroll along the beach to Beaumaris with its 13th-century castle and Victorian pier. Lying at the very heart of an officially designated AONB, there are golden sands everywhere and many outdoor recreational pursuits, including golf, riding, shooting, fishing, sailing, surfing, cycling and motor sports. There is also good walking straight from the doorstep. Shop 1½ miles, pub ½ mile.
