Fishing on-site (free of charge). Private parking. No smoking. Please note: There is an unfenced river in the garden.. Nestled at the end of a secluded, private track and overlooking the beautiful River Avon, this lovingly restored, former watermill provides the ultimate romantic hideaway and features river views from the verandahs. The sights and sounds of the river as it gently flows over the rapids can be enjoyed from the luxury of your own outdoor hot tub or the two verandahs, one of which can be accessed from one of the double bedrooms – visitors can even try a little trout fishing. Historic Linlithgow’s many amenities are 4 miles; Edinburgh is a 25-mile drive, or by train (every 15 minutes) from Linlithgow.

Tranquil ,peaceful location . Cottage and position out of a Catherine Cookson book x. Hot tub an added bonus after a day sight seeing or walking . Lovely setting for a quiet holiday the hosts were great and house was fantastic but shame about the wi-fi dial up would be faster and 4g signal is limited but better than the house internet that's if you can get a signal although that is not Williams (the owner) fault. If you want to get away and chill its spot on. And the hot tub was great.
