The best possible cottage we could have chosen, old and modern both apply! plenty for the kids to do including feeding the farm animals and playing on the large lawn and play area or playing table tennis in the barn. For adults the lounge and well equipped kitchen were superb with good internet connectivity. It is run like a well oiled machine, with our hosts Yvonne and Graham always ready to help but totally unobtrusive. There is not much other than farmland and small hamlets in the immediate area, but within a 10-15 minute drive (in almost any direction) there is everything you could wish for to make a great holiday for everyone. Clean, large and comfortable bedrooms make this the perfect getaway for either a short or long stay. Total chill out. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

An absolutely gorgeous cottage with two wonderful hosts.

An absolutely gorgeous cottage with two wonderful hosts. Scenic and peaceful countryside surrounds, with a chance to ride the tractor and feed the chickens! A well stocked kitchen, great amenities and space outside for the kids to run around. Will definitely return!

A beautiful barn.

A beautiful barn. Very impressively equipped kitchen. Lovely decor throughout. Special little touches like fresh flowers, a lovely bowl of fruit and fresh scones with clotted cream when we arrived. Yvonne could not be more helpful. So many great places to visit. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough

We really enjoyed our holiday at Proper Job.

We really enjoyed our holiday at Proper Job. It was one of the nicest cottages that we have ever stayed in. Yvonne and Graham were very friendly and left us with some treats to start out our holiday. The cottage was very spacious and bright and in a lovely setting, great for 5 people. We especially liked the heated floors and the dishwasher. We also enjoyed the pool table. Overall we had a great holiday!
