Great holiday in this lovely house. There is some road noise as per previous reviews, but we did not find this obtrusive. The house has everything you need and was well kitted out. We would recommend

Internally the cottage was well equipped and comfortable. Unfortunately the location of the property next to a busy A road coupled with single glazed windows allowed us to be disturbed by the traffic both morning and evening times and prevented us from enjoying sitting outside.

Dess Lodge is a lovely property in a good geographical location but, being alongside the main road, was sometimes noisy. There were just a few small issues but, on the whole, we enjoyed our stay in a clean unique property that was very comfortable. Very helpful owners.
