Small garden with patio and garden furniture. Private parking for 1 car. No smoking.. Set back from the road, together with the owner’s home and another holiday property (ref DC4897), Garsdale Cottage enjoys a lovely open aspect to the rear with views over countryside, ideal for that quiet al fresco meal or relaxing drink. The cottage is a short walk from the centre of Grassington, which holds the Summer Arts Festival hosting famous artists, and in the winter there is a Dickensian Festival to really get in to the spirit of Christmas. The village is well served with a variety of eateries, which serve both simple home cooking and fine dining. Walking and cycling are available direct from the door with both easy riverside walks and more strenuous hill walking. The market town of Skipton is a short drive, here you will find a Norman castle standing proudly at the top of a wide cobbled high street and a bustling market to browse through, together with canal trips, an indoor swimming pool and golf course. Shop, pub and restaurant 400 yards.
