4 of us enjoyed a 6 night stay at Afton over Xmas 2019.
4 of us enjoyed a 6 night stay at Afton over Xmas 2019. The bungalow is very modern, well equipped and clean - the views over the Perthshire countryside are great from the rear of the property. 5 minute walk into Aberfeldy village where there are pubs, cafes, restaurants & shops. It’s also a good base from which to other sites - we enjoyed Pitlochry village with its Salmon ladder, and also the Pass of Killiecrankie with the Soldiers Leap. Be aware that many tourists attractions do close for the winter, so if there’s something you’re keen to visit then check it’s open first. There is a new house being built just across the lane from Afton but if you’re out and about everyday the noise won’t really affect you unless you like long lie ins. Great place to stay
