Located within walking distance of all amenities, the property is only yards from the harbour.
Kirkcudbright has a wealth of coffee shops, restaurants, art galleries and independent shops. Many festivals are held throughout the year including Scottish nights, classic car rallies, historic walks, a medieval fayre, a jazz festival, a spectacular tattoo and a farmers’ market is held each month.
Kirkcudbright sits on the edge of the Galloway Hills, and lies on the estuary of the River Dee; it offers many outdoor pursuits including fishing, horse riding in Galloway Forest Park, cycling and golf. Threave Garden and Estate is owned by the National Trust and proves to be a popular visitor attraction. Dumfries is about 25 miles east and Castle Douglas, 8 miles, making this a wonderful base to tour south-west Scotland. Beach 1 mile. Shop 50 yards, pub and restaurant 150 yards.
