Surrounded by an enclosed garden, which itself is surrounded by a small orchard and wild flower meadow and mature trees, with views over the surrounding countryside, you can really appreciate rural Devon at its best. The cottage is only a 10-minute drive form the A30 (Devon and Cornwall’s main arterial road) making Bodmin Moor and the sandy beaches of north Cornwall (Bude, Boscastle etc) less than 40 minutes’ drive. Water sports and fishing are available locally at Roadford Lake, 5 miles away. There are also five major National Trust houses and three preserved steam railways all within a 30-mile radius of the cottage.

Glamping at its best

A very enjoyable stay at Farmer's Oak Shepherds Hut in rural Devon. Easy access to Dartmoor, Lydford Gorge and Tavistock to name a few. Lovely peaceful setting in an orchard with Cotlitch cooking facilities. Gracious hosts, Manya and Andrew.
