Stunning chalet in the best location in Morzine

ABOUT THE CHALET:
Chalet Dominique boasts a fantastic location in the centre of Morzine. The Pleney slopes and telecabine are less than 100 metres away and all the shops bars and restaurants are just around the corner. The chalet has a traditional alpine feel and is very well equipped with everything you need.

The chalet`s living and sleeping accommodation is shared between the two main floors of the chalet and a studio apartment on the lower ground floor.

The dining area is spacious and warm with an open fire adding to the cosy feel. The sitting area has plenty of comfy seating and is equipped with TV, Apple TV, a docking station, some books and a few board games to keep everyone entertained. A small quiet reading area or breakfast room with a small dining table completes the living accommodation.

The kitchen is well equipped and large enough to make meal preparation a pleasure. A WC is located in the hallway leading to the garage.

Upstairs are four bedrooms, a bathroom, a shower room and a WC. The bedrooms on this floor comprise of three doubles (one of these can also be a twin) and a bunk room which is great for children.

The studio apartment completes the sleeping accommodation and provides a quiet haven from the rest of the chalet. The apartment has a double bed (can also be a twin) and a single bed, a shower room, WC and a small kitchenette.

The garage is an ideal storage area for bikes/skis and also houses a washing machine. Alptitude Chalets have a small store cupboard which is occasionally accessed through a back door in the garage. There are two/three parking spaces in front of the garage for guest cars.

Perfect Location

Great house for a larger group. 9 of us in total and had plenty of space. The location is perfect, for biking, walking, bars, restaurants, swimming facilities and all Morzine/Pleney lifts. Also walking distance to LesGets (an hour walk, up Pleney lift and follow the fire road into town). Amenities of the house are great, washing facilities, storage. Everywhere was clean. Nice garden space that had sun all day for days at the house. No downsides at all and cant wait to return next year.

Fantastic location but dissapointing accommodation considering the cost

Brilliant central location and very near the main lift station. However the property has a poor bedroom layout. The bedrooms are very small and everything about the chalet has been done on the cheap so it felt more like student accommodation than a comfortable, well-equipped chalet. Small things would have also have made a big difference such as the fire laid and toilet paper left for the first night etc. Also the duvets/pillows are really old and an unpleasant man-made fibre so very hot. We were unlucky as the basement bedroom in the garage had an issue with sewage smell, but to be fair the property manager got this sorted - although only after we complained so much a plumber was sent the same evening to try to fix it. We were then offered a discount or total refund which was a nice gesture. Overall it's a shame as the property has so much potential to be excellent but obviously its being run to maximise profit with minimal thought of guests comfort. Be aware its definitely not 'Stunning" as stated in the decsription!

Lovely property in a superb location., decor is quite tired and needs updating.

Booking process was very smooth and efficient. Only negative for this property is that it needs a place to properly dry ski wear and equipment. The interior and furniture is a little dated and needs updating. The location of the property is superb and having the garage space to store suitcases etc is fantastic.
